I traveled a little outside Hakodate to catch a ride to Noboribetsu, my first ride in Hokkaido during my trip from Kagoshima to Wakkanai. I walk from the station to a point where I think I can get a ride ...
It's funny how people complain about the video quality and even unsubscribe because of that. I guess it's part of the same "technical quality before intellectual content" trend that brought 3D to cinema. I could watch Only in Japan in 144p and still enjoy it. Cheers!
Right!. Put this into perspective. We are watching a guy, live, via his mobile phone, from all parts of the world and we still complain about picture quality. I think some people just lose sight of the broader picture/ first world problems. This trip is so awesome becasue it is like i am hitch hiking through Japan - from the comfort of my home.
his on Live Stream, live stream from smart phone do not support HD mostly for fast stream you can't set it in any option, so if you watch his video on a crappy image, that was recorded live.
horrible thunderstorm here power outages and everything sitting here watching you on my data from my tablet just so I dont miss my daily dose of go. lol so thanks for keeping me entertained through this storm
This reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest out in the fields...and at the crossroads. In the movie, Cary Grant is actually trying to get a ride...hitchhike, until a plane spots him and tries to kill him. Excellent movie! I am thoroughly joying this trip. I looked it up and looks like your DVD is for sale ($35) from your shop. Although I don't have Google Pay, but I want to buy the DVD! You have teased about some of the stuff that is on the DVD. I can't wait to watch it! 😍
Haha! I just watched that movie too. Well, it was a ride with a machinegun 😆 I think they just wanted him in that spot. Didn’t end well for that plane hahaha!
i was in Japan last time.... i never take attention to those manhole cover.... thanks to your interesting video about manhole cover....i also take up interest on those.....
Fun fact about the "US could've used the metric"; they are. They signed the treaty of the metre and all imperial units are defined in SI-units. So all scales made in the US are either directly or indirectly calibrated via one of the National copies the US has; K-4, 20, 79, 85 or 92. Length and other types of units are converted from their SI-definitions (inch == 25.4 millimetre, gallon == 4 546.09 milliliter etc)
The Shinkansen doesn't go to Sapporo, yet. It won't be completed until possibly 2031. 😕 It only reaches to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto. Then it is the train from there to Sapporo, for about 3 1/2 hours. Definitely not bullet train speed.
naoyuki sasanami 1 second ago No one pointed out the bizarre both behind him that says Coin-operated DOG SHOWER! that could have been an episode of Only in Japan to see how it works out:)
3:41 I was always under the impression that escalator etiquette in Japan was that the stationary riders all stay on one specific side of the stairs so that others may continue walking down or up. I'm not seeing that here, I welcome any explanation?
As promise. Wow. 22 march 2021. Just now watch you depart from Amori,,, 4 hrs boat. I dont k ow how you arrive to this train station. Nevermind 😃oh mine. No car stop by... and you are hungry amd thirsty....
ONLY in JAPAN * GO wow! Sounds great. I did a transfer from the high speed Shinkansen coming from tokyo to that smaller all stops local train that they also call Shinkansen at Hakodate station to continue going to Sapporo though
George Ye I think he realized after taking that whole hike to that spot that his plan for the day was not a great one and infact he may have put himself in a very difficult situation. Plus he is probably very tired, and I know when I am tired I tend to get more crazy in my mood, could be that. Still, IMO overall he was still his same awesome nice self. :)
yeh Chinese sometimes have a weird attitude mostly when seating on a lobby, they just sit like they own it or they're at home swinging and lifting their feet or sometimes planking, believe me i met a lot of them here in my country like that, well perhaps not all of them but most of them i encountered are just like that. sometimes they laugh at you without any reason and it's kind of annoying
