That’s where my cabin was…Tagish. Built it with the help of some friends back in 1988. Use to love my boat trips down to Ben My Chree at the headwaters of the lake. I know those lake trout well in Tagish. Miss the Yukon all the time. Will be back next summer for my 50th grad reunion.
Great to have ya back, we watch your videos on the big tv, my wife and I do then I remember to come back today on my phone and like and comment cause I’m that kinda RU-vid watcher..
Welcome to the 2024 season Bob, good to see you uploading again for 2024. Everywhere seems to of jumped in price. Port Colborne jumped $7 to.$22.70. I think Crystal Beach is still $15
BOB, THE OTHER THING I FORGOT TO TELL YOU IS THAT WHEN FLYING YOUR DRONE ON YOUR SEADOO IT MAY BE BETTER TO SWITCH YOUR RETURN TO HOME SETTINGS TO HOVER RATHER THAN RETURN TO HOME. JUST DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE IT BACK WHEN FLYING FROM A STATIONARY LOCATION. HOPE THIS HELPS. CRAIG
I am aware of that. I could also update the RTH location. I could see it so I just canceled the RTH and landed to manually. I should have turned off the sensors and it would have come down into my hand more easily.
Nice work, I live on Lower buckhorn now, used to live in lagoon city and a bit of a drone nerd. You have to change your Return to home setting to the remote controller NOT the spot you took off from. Trust me. I know the feeling.
Hello Bob I always enjoy your videos if you ever get down to the Upper Cheasapeke Bay we have some great sking areas for sure. We hit Annapolis Baltimore St Michels and a bunch more real nice stops. Len
Hey Bob, another great video what an enjoyment to watch we too have a Sea-Doo and also a boat just wondering where do you get your black Canadian flag that you put on your sea-doo looked all over can’t find them keep up the good work
If you're ever worried about the battery not starting, Canadian Tire sells a NICO Booster which I bought for my motorcycle. It works great for cars too, and it can also be used as a power pack to charge things on the fly.
Hello Bob I’ve been a follower and been enjoying watching your videos I see you spend a lot and comments regarding launch fees especially around lake simcoe area … I have a hack for you $75 you’ll be able to launch and park fort the whole season and this includes various lakes n Ontario 😊
Hey Bob great first day back in the water! We are up in Midland on Georgian Bay and plan to take our Seadoos out for some extended adventures this summer. Quick question…. Is your quad lock mount just and adhesive mount on your machine or did you actually bolt that through? Was thinking of going the adhesive route but would love your input! Thanks.
I tried the sticky mount. Came off. I then used a ram mount and bolted it through. Watch this Saturdays video I show it more clearly. If you have anymore questions after Saturday feel free to ask.
Bob quick question for you. With your set up can you read the depth on your seadoo console? I was told that generally you need to remove the seadoo transducer to install the gramin transducer which will allow your fish finder to find fish. Strange concept eh?
Hi. I do not have a transducer attached to the Seadoo. I just use the depth finder on the console. Not sure if the depth finder is standard or just on the limited. That is a strange concept.
Thank you Bob for the great videos. We are planning on exploring more of Georgian Bay this summer on our PWC. Are you concerned about breaking down while out on the water alone and who would you call if you needed help?
Yea I always have that in mind. There is cell service for quite a bit of Georgian Bay and I also carry a VHF radio. I keep the machine in good condition and always let someone know my plans. I also carry stuff with me in case I did get stranded. Sometimes it’s just a matter of managing the risk. There are trips that I won’t do alone.
Nice video Bob for the start of 2024. I am still waiting patiently to get my machine out for the first ride. If you are open to it I would like to ride with you one day this summer if dates could line up? Until then keep up the great videos. Cheers.
Thanks Craig. I should try and organize an open group ride one day. The problem is I always plan my trips on short notice and generally through the week. Should give it a try though
