Maybe it makes him feel like hes doing something more, not sure. I'm impressed that after blowing out the gear pack like that he was able to make it home. Even with a performance clutch set up, you can't just continually do redline dumps on it. It doesn't "do numbers" if you can't get the power through the driveline. But of course its Harley's fault...can't fix stupid.

@@ernestmcnair7789 Fuel Moto, GMR, Hillside Cycle, Zippers Performance. These are all very reputable Harley engine builders that make big numbers, lots of time 140hp and 150tq or more and they use stock transmissions 90% of the time.

Everybody be nice the first thing I did when put my big engine on my ultra classic was chassis work transmission clutch I also have an electric shifter so yes I am doing wide-open shifts with my Baker five-speed Direct drive transmission on my 04 ultra classic with a S&S HC124. I personally built the bike or I would not be able to afford to have this bike I feel bad for this kid. He’s only about $5000 away from getting it finished if he has someone else finish the bike I’m talking about drive train and maybe chain drive keeps riding like that he also needs to get a Baker manual primary chain tensioner and a baker compensating sprocket are completely illuminate the compensating sprocket and putting gear drive on there the way he rides I would go with the heavy duty Baker compensating sprocket he need some Kush fat tire bike he’s kind of guy that’ll probably let the belt get loose and snap a belt inner primary off again not to mention dropping the swing arm good luck kid you need to spend some time with somebody has a big inch bike to show you how to treat it learn some basic maintenance yourself or you’re going to go broke and won’t have your bike very much be sitting in the shop for stupid stuff. You will learn. Also if you are going to have a hotrod Harley you have to have a second one that is for riding i’m old I can afford a few back ups but anybody who has a high horsepower bike knows the further you deviate from stock less reliability you have good luck. Oh and one more thing it’s not called a gear pack it’s called the cartridge.

Thats a good point but you saw the way he was switching those gears. That's not even good to do on a high performance clutch/trans/gearbox
