@@Lil.Grandpa When I'm using taunters tongue I use the blues as bait to bring in a second invader so I can fight them both, I don't really depend on them to help out because these guys are so unpredictable, most times they spawn in a mile away, some of them never move from their spawn locations, some of them just follow you around without actually doing anything, lol it's too funny man
My only problem with the new dlc ashes of war and weapons is some are so fast when playing in lag it's almost impossible to dodge them other than that this dlc is a 10/10

As soon™ as I realized the Greatsword of Damnation had a grab I started invading, t reinvigorated my passion for invasions. It’s helped me beat tons of ganks, though I use it as a secondary weapon in case I can’t make do with my primary (Thollier’s Hidden Needle)
What's so Evil about Palmstrikes is that it look EXTREMLY similiar to casting certain Incant-buffs or Heals. How can you not instinctifly go for what you think is a Punish. Only for half a Second of Terror as you realize this is a Trade instead.
i've been vigor checking people the past few days with the "golden sword of innumerable stabs", while wearing the rakshasha armor. 1900 in one hit on most people, more if they have weaker armor and i'm full health. it's hilarious, because literally every single group i run into is running "meta weapons" just spamming ashes of war (not actual meta, things like blasphemous blade, rellana's twinblades, so on), or doing pure blood builds. none of them have been prepared to get one shot by this thing. took out a group of 3 with it earlier, fucking glorious. it's both a vigor check, and a skill check. if you see the leap and don't dodge, you've failed the skill check. if you don't live through said failure, you've failed the vigor/armor check. it's pretty fun. really good greatsword moveset too, claymore thrust heavy and crouching thrust. if you want my build (anyone), full rakshasha armor, dagger talisman, two hander talisman (it's a new one), alexander, and full health damage boost talisman (because with rakshasha your defense is shot in favor of more damage, epic passive set of armor). flask is opaline (just in case) and faith damage boost (because i'm rocking a pure quality build, and have just enough faith to use the sword). figured pvp would be ass in this, just like the base game. and it is. but it's also opened a lot of opportunities for wacky shit, that make it actually entertaining. finishing someone off with a tibia skeleton ball (consumable item that you throw, that summons a skeleton to immediately attack, think it's called "Call of Tibia" or something) is hilarious and satisfying. haven't tried the homing cannon yet. gonna upgrade it in a few minutes and give it a shot (pun intended).
it makes me sooooooo happy to see people do 1v1s with you honorably. My friend introduced me to that type of being invaded a long time ago, and ive always loved it. odd choice for the host to go first tho lmaoooooo

ER is the one souls game I haven't done much PvP in, so idk where the sweetspot for pvp is. Gotta get back into it, it's always been my favorite part of these games
People say 150-166, but honestly you'll get action at pretty much any RL right now. If you don't want to run into a bunch of cancer builds, I'd stick below RL 120. lol
Maybe one day they'll raise the world cap to 5 or 6 players (3 host team, 2 invader team. Or 4 host team, 2 invader team), but probably not! I can dream though.
I killed 3 guys in stormviel the other day. Double handed the flameberge with one being impaling thrust with fire and the other being the new frost stomp 😂. Man had them boys running out of storm veil and falling down stairs. Shit was so funny. Killed all 3 1v1 😂 with not a single new dlc move or weapon. People forget R1 ahd R2 exist ,
sooo.. anyone on ps5 notice this weird bug around Ellac river basin where your controller will just vibrate in random pulses? it sometimes happens around those big bat faced mofos as well…. who are generally near the river.
Pvp is seriously reaching new heights of build variety, don't let the arcane-Ripple blade nerf fool you, sleep builds are out here, and they hit like trucks
@@ramborator4880 can you penalize them yourself? I recall a finger that boots phantoms but can't remember if it also worked on invaders, if so, then its an avenue to picking your battles.

Backhand blades have a double swing on both running r1 and r2, the swift slash aow is maybe what you're referring to? It is a dash attack that let's you move through enemies (sometimes?) and is then a trail of slices hit behind you as well.
