I plow with a Volvo 110 here in Norway these days...I'm amazed how smooth the loader is to drive,the comfort is incredible. I hated snowplowing before,but with good equipment and comfortable seat,it's just a joy.

Количество снега зависит от продолжительности , и температуры зимы . Если зима холодная и снега будет мало . В западной Сибири в этом году зима началась с 25 - 30 и снега 15 см целый месяц и только сейчас потеплело до 10 -15 и снег пошел .
For half a moment I thought this was one of those simulator games and thought oh cool a snowplow sim. Then I realized it’s real footage. 10/10 if this was a game I’d play it.

Thank you! The blade is almost 4 meter wide in total but when plowing like this the width is about 2,8 meters. Think I go around 20 km/h normally, but sometimes slower and sometimes faster 😊
@Johan Mansikka . With a good asphalt surface plowing at 40kmh to 60kmh is pretty comfortable in a Combo truck. If you get the right consistency of slush you can actually get an ark going well over the height of the truck.

Do you still get the amount of snow you did, let's say, ten years ago? I live in western New York, and we get a fraction of the snow we once did. You can still see grass in my yard, and it's almost Christmas.
When I was 3 or 4 years old, my older brother and his friend convinced me to go lie in a ditch so we could experience the snow plow go by. My brother and I are still alive. Don't know about the other dude. That was Järvenpää Finland about 1968. Moved to Canada a few years later.

This work is very exhausting and i know it because i went snow plowing with my brother in law, day and night. This work is severely underestimated and underrated. Where are I reside the streets are too narrow for a standard plow truck assembly,the local municipality uses a loader with a push blade.Works great,very little snow across my driveway.Plowed for 30 years,retired just over 2 years ago,I don’t miss the hassles or getting out of a warm bed and into a cold truck in the middle of the night to plow for ungrateful residents.

I’m a road maintenance guy from northwestern part of the US. Usually plow with trucks however when things get bad I grab the grader with a bull plow and a wing. That said I am also chained up on all 6 wheels and have some pretty steep grades. Even with chains on I have come off hills every which way except forward. Can get a little tense. That said, do you guys have much problem getting out of control on the ice?

Are heavy snowblowers used much where you are? I realize that each attachment has different benefits, but it is nice being able to shoot the snow where you need to.
We sure are spoiled nowadays with how comfortable our machines are and how they are hydro-static, and the controls are all on joysticks, compared to the old days lol. That sure is a nice piece of equipment and you sure are a good operator that not only does a good job, but respects the equipment you're using. I don't know if you own this machine or you're an employee, but you sure are careful with it and that's good.
Sure we are. My late Dad told me they still plowed the country roads with wooden V-plows pulled by horse teams in the 1940s. Can't even imagine how exhausting that must've been.. Btw: have a nice and peaceful Christmas!
Love the video. Im a truckdriver from the netherlands. Most of my days spend driving in northern Europe. I personally like it more when its not plowed, bc then the snow is fresh and easy to drive through. A plowed road happens to be slippier then fresh snow. This ofcourse doesnt work on busy roads with a lot of traffic, but the small roads i wouldn't plow. But its not up to me lol. Great video, keep up the good work💪💪
@@attepatte8485 my windshield is 2m above ground so that doesn't happen that fast. Also in this video its not that deep, good enough for driving through it
