Just landed my first SWE internship as a Junior! I got on the internship train a little late but I’m super excited. Taking your advice to heart, I was a bit nervous to perform but to switching the perspective and look at it as an opportunity to make mistakes, take risks, and learn relives the pressure and makes it sound way more fun. You helped take a lot of weight off my shoulders. I knew it was expected that as an intern they knew we’re still learning but it’s nice to hear someone else say it. It helps me know it’s okay to ask questions if you don’t know something.

i am working 6 months in a multinational american company, i am feeling extremely overwhelmed because i know nothing of angular, c# and the complex things (i know only basics of python, html and css) the other intern knows almost everything he is a dude that looks like he has been coding since he was in the womb.I feel so incompetent, i am a girl and i rarely see any girls in my company that are passing thro the same exact thing, none is teaching me anything, my team is so distant i feel so sad i fear i wont be able to catch up

So I'm new into coding I am currently a freshman at Iowa western community college working on a application and web design degree it was my best option at the time but I don't know how companies internships work I don't have a ton of knolage like I said I am a freshman and a community college do you think if I tried to reach and internship they would even take me seriously? and am I even on the right track to become a software engineer ?.
