Love the video, I'm rehabilitating a '74 Siren right now. Videos like this keep me motivated to work on the boat and keep the project moving.

Congrats! They’re great little boats. Feel free to reach out with any questions at all. I’d also recommend checking out the Facebook group if you haven’t yet, tons of great info on there. I appreciate the feedback!

Same here, working on some fiberglass aswell as replacing alot of the rivets with stainless bolts. Hope to get back on the water before it gets too late in the year.

Good to see you getting some sailing time in Noah! Was wondering what chartplotter app you're using and if it is yearly subscription based? Sounds like your dyneema cable has really cut down on the call of the Siren ? I like your anchor mod! Have you considered keeping you rode bag in the rear hatch and only bring it up with you when anchoring? Might help to keep the bow area clear. Keep up the videos!

@@raymtl8892 not enough days in the summer unfortunately. My season just started for me and it’s soon coming to a close. I use a combination of “I-boating: Marine Charts and GPS” and navionics. Navionics is subscription based but I can’t find an active subscription or receipt for i-boating so I’m not sure if it was a one time payment kinda deal or whatnot. There’s no dyneema on my boat, although I have looked into it. Maybe it’s just the wind cutting the noise down but I promise she still hums lol Keeping the rode in the rear hatch would be ideal but I’m not sure how you’d do that without a quick connect to the anchor. I have yet to see a quick connect that I would trust enough to sleep at night lol I appreciate your comment friend!

Nice...next time more wind and waves and anchor out over night showing how you eat and sleep in the boat
