Hello, I’m Caroline! I had the amazing opportunity to attend the first ever Southeast Asian Music & Culture festival located in Norco, California! As I am half Thai and half Lao, I am so proud to see representation of artists and performers from the same ethnic background as me! There were so many talented artists that attended this event and some of them I was not able to get footage of as I was also trying to live in the moment, lol! Artists included in this video are Singto Numchok, Gunnapat, Sophana, Nutdao, Aiila, MD, Thinlamphone, GX2, T’Jame Uno, Big Yai, Lynda Trang Dai, Jonny Olsen and Big M.
My final thoughts on Sabaideefest:
Overall, the event was organized and very well put together. They had a great selection of food (Lao, Thai, Hmong, Korean, American food), and the decor & photo ops were beautiful and unique. I liked how they had “picnic mats” aka “Saat” near the food vendor area, and allowing people to bring their own to use them at the stage area. The vibes were great. The people were great. Can’t wait for next year!
