That is so awesome that you got it back up and running what you have done to that truck helps me to keep trying with my 1998 one ton. Your oil cooling system look great that's my next job for me. @@TheAscendedMaster I love your build so much. I just had mine quoted for the machine shop. 1500 to be machined, balanced and handed back to me as a short block. I am going to go with brand new promaxx heads.
@@IDIoilburnerPromaxx Heads are a great replacement. I have had no issues with mine and haven't been gentle on this engine at all lol. They could use a little dremel work prior to install to clear up some of the casting but not necessary.
@@LouDawgsC10 depends on what you want done. I upgraded from the Block up most just to run a turbo and it cost me $20k+ but could easily throw another $20k into her for more upgrades. There are a number of ways to build an engine but just depends what you want to do.
Another option to get better HP out of the 6.2 is swap for 6.5 heads and run the 6.5 Borg warner intake set up and exhaust manifold w/ Turbo can do this all under 2500$ find a good donor truck or Find a complete engine
