Crossovers are really hard for me, have big skates and keep kicking myself. Any tips to avoid this?

I will redo this Tutorial soon where I mention to buy skates in the correct size. A crossovers Tutorial is also scheduled for october. If your skates are big because you have big feet, than try to make bigger steps
