@@Elevated_Faded Yes, the Mission is higher out of the box and set perfectly for pepperballs if that is your projectile. But, the Mission has to be disassembled like a clam shell to change to higher velocity settings for Grimburgs. I still prefer my TCP because the velocity is easier to adjust and every new mag brings along a new CO2.

The mission is also much larger in size, and only uses one 12g C02 cartridge for one or 2 mags then ir looses power because you have to replace the cartridge. Which is much more difficult to change out. The TCP/FSC gets a fresh mag of ammo and cartridge everytime reload.

If you want power out of the box then buy the mission tpr

I did replace the barrel with a bore matched .686 smoothbore from Grimburg. These are a major handy technology for personal defense. As far as the money goes, they’re worth it. Start with the base gun and some Grimburg ammo, the optimization mods can come as finances permit but even a dude working at Taco Bell should be able to afford $300 for a gun and 50 for reusable ammo. Better barrels and lights and more mags can come bit by bit but one McDonalds paycheck is enough to have the system on hand in case you need it. For me, that’s totally worth a few hundred bucks, even if I was poor.

8 grams. There are 'heavier' rounds out there but 8 g is a very optimal balance for mass and velocity so you're not lobbing rainbow-arc shots past 20 feet. The real high point of Grimburg rounds is the quality and tolerance. With a bore-matched barrel, you get a screaming velocity out of them since they're made to such a high standard and pressure/air isn't escaping around the sides. I'm not affiliated with Grimburg in any way other than as a totally loyal customer who recognizes their relatively superior product.

Potentially, but not like a firearm. That's the whole point. They may lacerate the skin, but they will absolutely leave severe contusions that will demotivate most all attackers. The sorts of 'worst case scenario' type attackers who might be able to power through something like this would be no different than the fluke cases where people were shot with duty sidearms several times but kept fighting because they were hopped up on PCP, or whatever. There's always that 0.01% chance, but the other 99.9% of the time its going to be effective.

Lots of factors. "Confronting kids breaking into a car" is pretty much the perfect scenario for something like this and largely why I own one. This isn't to say you might not want to have a firearm small-of-back just in case something unexpected happens, but yeah. Not all situations are lethal force situations, but may warrant more coercion than strong words and threats. They hit around 30 joules of energy. They'll take the wind out of you sails, for sure. You could devise scenarios where they would be ineffective (a 6'5 bodybuilder on PCP wearing a winter coat over a leather jacket) but for the most part, they hit so hard that you won't see anyone on RU-vid volunteering to get shot by one out of a maxed out FSC or rifle. There are videos of Tiberius T8's and Grimburg ammo blowing holes through hams, breaking bone, etc. And, if the self defense situation gets really hairy, there's always taking a head shot. These are meant as compliance tools on soft tissue but are potentially lethal, otherwise.

Oh, also- for home defense, consider a Valken M17 with Grimburgs and related LTL modifications. 18 rounds, very reliable, a good bit more power, full auto option, The FSC is great if you need something concealable or portable, I take mine on business trips but for the house, the LTL option is a M17,

@@AMRs awesome, I’ll definitely check that out. I definitely want the M17 for home defense. We just had a situation where a parent killed their kid thinking they were an intruder. I’d rather take my chance with the M17 while the wife hunkers down with the shotgun

@@stephond.photography9867 One thing I can pretty confidentially say is that nobody is going to take a full-auto rip of Grimburg JUL ammo from a tuned up M17 and keep coming, I don't care what weapon they're carrying. If you shoot first and shoot right, you're gunna win the exchange, they're going down. Be sure to get the bore matched barrel and use Grimburg ammo,

@@AMRs in my FSC, with 6 in the normal mags, I always put a 7th in the breech and I also tune the power for 7 shots from a 12 gram. (so if I tuned the power for 6 shots I would just turn the power up slightly. with 7 I turn it down slightly to spread a little bit more power to the 5th, 6th and 7th shot.) I think it is the first 4-5 shots with all their power are the ones to make sure count and then that 6th and 7th are still damn powerful. I have never had a misfire and almost no occurrence of balls falling out, so I see no downside to putting that extra ball in the breech.

Essentially, yes. There are some minor mods, I belive the throat on the TCP is a bit different but for all intents and purposes, yes. They're the same gun made by the same people with different color schemes and model names.

I can but I’m a larger dude. It would be about like concealing a full size sidearm. Very doable but not made to be a pocket gun.

The Pepperball TCP is basically the exact same thing, made to the same spec by the same factory. The only material differences are the Pepperball TCPs have certain looser tolerances to accommodate the larger proprietary rounds. A First Stike FSC can do whatever a Pepperball TCP can do by turning the velocity screw and using the same ammo.

they are basically the same thing tcp is just made for a specific application comes with an upgraded barrel and more durable internal regulator. fsc is a paintball marker aswell and more meant to freely customize by being a base model. save money pretty much type of thing unless u want the regulator durability. i think the fsc mags are different aswell and better for hp68 rounds and such
