Those barrels where you can change the muzzle are from MCS, I’m not sure if they have a barrel back specifically for the XL insert. Check the MCS website. If they don’t have it, you’ll probably not going to find it.
got a question, what to get the lion claw barrel just cuz it has thread tip for muzzle tip but my freak insert I use is .684 and the lion claw barrel bore size is .687 am I able to use it like that..what size do I need....do I need barrel tip that matches my freak insert
A lot of the barrel fronts for a freak are the same bore size. So yes you can use it like that. The purpose of the lion claw is for the muzzle tip. To give it a ar15/m4 look. But you can use whatever you like as a freak front. Obviously as long as the threads match.
@@davidemovente5975 all of my barrels are A5 treaded, only because I had a tippmann gun previously. The the treads on the barrel tips from MCS do vary. Double check that before you buy it. The tip that I have is called birdcage I think. Just determine the length of the total barrel. I use between 12” & 16”. The freak + 5” lion claw + the tip. Is one in this video.
I have a couple of different size lion claw barrels, so you can make it as short as 10”. The one I’m showing in this video is 12” I believe. The shortish lion claw I think is 3” obviously they go up from there. So you have options.
@@ArkhamInmatesPB thanks you yeah I already took a look on the lion claw barrers prop thats that one i was looking for also how does it perform?? Since im in the market for one also im looking at the deadly wind fibur X barrel
@@martinpb1963 either one is good , it’s a matter of look. With The lion claw you can add a tip to give it a realistic look. But the fiber x is great also, it’s a matter of your personal style.
Francisco Padilla first thing is a quality barrel, my favorites are hammerhead mofo for FS and the freak barrel for round ball. The rest depends on what style you’re looking for. Determine the length of the T15 you want. It can be a short, medium or long version. Based on that, mod the gun. Main thing is to keep it as light as you can. Obviously the more accessories the heavier the gun. Remember a lot of the stuff you add , sights, lasers, etc. work best at short range, especially using round ball. So you don’t have to go crazy. Bottom line, choose options that fit your style of play.
Francisco Padilla T15 parts I get from Rockstartactical.com, most of my custom ar 15 parts from tacticalgunparts.net , things like the handguard or pistol grip from any store that sell AR parts, shop around and see what you like. My handguard is from unique-ars.com , you can check airsoft shops as well, for sights and scopes. Evike.com carries a lot of stuff. All depends on what you want to spend. You can cerakote the gun also if you’re looking for a custom paint job. Or do it yourself. strikeindustries.com has some nice stuff also. Magpul is another popular brand.
@@ToyMaestro I’m not fond of the Lapco. For rifled barrels I prefer the hammerhead barrels. The freak barrels are great. You can’t go wrong with the freak as far as I’m concerned.
