I FINALLY DID IT. MY FIRST SUB 20 ever accomplished for SM64. I definitely made some big mistakes (such as failing the HMC clip), but I will begin to grind the intermediate difficulty route for more potential time saves. From this point on, I will upload any new PB that I feel proud of.

Just seeing this 2 years later after you've posted, I've been getting into 16 star the past few months and my PB is 20:06, thanks for the motivation! Was a nice run!

Does the Japaneese version not lag in Bower sub?

If you're talking about Shindou, yes. There's no lag in sub. However, original JPN version does have lag. That is assuming you're playing on original N64 hardware. With proper PJ64 settings, EMU completely gets rid of that lag.
