Of course it would have been very deserved for Searle and you feel sorry for him, but it takes so much to do what Schindler did there. 0:4, 1:5, 2:6, 3:7 - how many players would have started to throw their darts away in frustration like "Well, it's just not my day, not my game". To keep believing, to keep hoping for a tiny chance and to be there when it matters - that's character. Darts is a sport where you can blame nobody but yourself. You hit the doubles or you don't. Nobody can do it for you, and if the other one has better nerves, that's a quality in itself. Congrats, Martin!

Searle the nearly man probably the best checkout artist in tour..his game is one of the very best apart from campaigning matches . Indoor he can sort it out because of he can stop missing the doubles in the big moments he has multiple title winner written all over him

Poor poor Ryan. I was feeling his agony. This was still a big performance for him, hopefully he can use this experience to grow further and cross that winning line. I believe Schindler had similar struggles for a while, and look at him now. But yeah, someone will be reliving this final as a nightmare later.

As a German I obviously wanted Martin to win and I am happy he did - but I Like Searle, he deserved that Titel and just lost his head - Darts Never gets tired to remind you that much of the work is in Your head, Not your arm.
