#avidgardener @fionahesketh During Chemo I was eating swordfish and tuna steaks, but after 2 cycles I could no longer look at them without feeling ill, I have never eaten them since.

Congratulations on becoming Spanish! Great to hear you could tolerate swordfish Graham, and a G & T! Lovely to see both of you out and about in such a fascinating place, Graham's history snippets are always good. Both of you take care, lots of hugs.😊
Absolutely loved the history part of the video. Would love to see more. Lunch was a great idea! Glad it went well. You could see the delight on your face. Congratulations on being now recognised as Spanish! A huge thank you to you both for reminding me how much I missed the sounds of my childhood growing up on a boat. It was nothing flash but I loved it. ❤ thank you!
I am so happy that you enjoyed your swordfish and a G+T, Graham =). Prayers of healing, health and strength. Love and Hugs to you both. God Bless you both and all of your loved ones =). 🙏🙏✝✝💙💜💚💛
Nice to see you both out and about. I can remember, when I first ordered a swordfish steak, after we arrived in Gibraltar, where we stayed for 3 years. I said to the waiter when he brought it, that “ I ordered a swordfish steak “ and he said that was a swordfish steak. I thought he had brought me a pork chop because to me, that’s what it looked like. Have you ever wanted the floor to open up and swallow you! My fault, I had never had a swordfish steak before. What a numpty I was……… Your video the other day was painful to watch, your brave way of dealing with everything, helped me to watch until the end. You are a strong man and you have a strong woman, travelling this path with you. All you can do is take things, one day at a time. A positive attitude is important and you have got that in bucket loads. Fiona will be there for you, I can see you are carrying on as normal, doing the things you have always done, that’s great, it will keep your mind off the cancer, for a while when out are out and about. Love to both of you, having Fiona beside you, will keep you strong, what a great couple you are together. Best Wishes, Anne 🙏🏻🏴🦋
My guess is that the British figured out how to cross "the line". They weren't a great empire for no reason. Thanks for that bit of history Graham. Your knowledge of the area and history is enjoyable to listen to🌻It's nice to see you two out and about on a beautiful day. Wishing you both all the good vibes❤
The swordfish looked tasty 😋. Its making me looking forward to my lunch and dinner now since seeing your meal 😊. Hard luck that you couldn't eat it all but the meal overall by in large definitely looked tremendously terrific certainly from what I saw 😊. Hopefully the next time you are having a swordfish meal you will be able to stomach it all 😋. All the best my good man Graham 😊😉😉😊. From your friend Foxy in Brighton, East Sussex, England, UK 😊😊😉😉😊😊.
Hi guys so pleased you managed to eat your lunch I watched your video Graham at the weekend and so very sad to hear your diagnosis I have only followed you both since this summer and love Fiona's podcast/videos I love the fabulous views of Gib and the free history lesson thrown in LOL sending you both my best wishes xx
I'm really glad you enjoyed. As a young 20 yr old, I never liked fish. The family went out for dinner and my brother ordered tuna and I tried a taste. Loved it. I became a seafood person after that.
Lets go out for a fish meal together Sue 😉. Especially since just learning you are a seafood person as am I too 😊. I eat fish nearly all the time on a weekly basis eating fish of various types from cod, seabass, haddock, shrimp, prawns, oysters various types of fish and seafood but have never eaten swordfish before but if my appetite allowed I could have helped finish off with eating the remains of Graham's swordfish but never mind. When I was younger before I was 18 I could have maybe directly finished off with eating Graham's swordfish remains but wouldn't be able to do it now that I'm older because once you reach a certain age Sue, though everybody is different your appetite begins to shrunk down or reduce as I have so experienced, I think if I finished the remains of Graham's swordfish meal and I was eating the same thing as him I would not only feel extremely stuffed afterwards but I would probably gain too much weight as I personally wouldn't want to be over a certain weight, even though I was over 20 pounds too light at one point. To share the story about me being over 20 pounds too light in weight Sue, until I was 20 I only weighed 130lbs, which for me a 5 ft 8 inch man is very skinny and thin being this weight for my height, now I'm 154lbs in weight which I have largely remained since I was 20 and generally have the aiming grip of staying within the 154 to 160lb weight range but there we have things. We are all different shape and size as one might say lovely Sue. But yes, I would certainly go out for a fish meal with you anyday in the future Sue my lovely 😊. You are such a wonderful, lovable friend who is full of lovingly friendly pleasance enormously and its certainly something I value 😊. May I always thank you greatly for so affectionately wrapping your arm around Graham and Fiona's shoulders and having their backs aswell as genuinely supporting them greatly 😊. Had you been affectionately wrapping your arm around my shoulder I would have most certainly been leaning my head against your head if this was realistically done to me in real life 😊. You take care my lovely Sue 😊. Much unconditional love and hugs sent your way always my lovely lovely lady Sue 😘☺☺😘. From your friend Foxy in Brighton, East Sussex, England, UK xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox 🥰🥰😍😍🥰🥰.
One thing I am certainly going to do Patricia is have a swordfish meal in the future for sure either eating it in a restaurant or cook it up myself 😊. Thankyou always for your strong grip of support towards our Graham and Fiona as usual my lovely Patricia, very many thanks indeed, much unconditional love and hugs sent your way always my lovely lovely lady Patricia 🥰😍😍🥰. From your friend Foxy in Brighton, East Sussex, England, UK xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox 🥰🥰😍😍🥰🥰.
Ola Graham & well done 👍 for biting the bullet & ordering a beautiful big swordfish steak, it looked delicious 😋 & I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed it - (I’ve only ever had it a handful of times on various holidays, the first time was in a waterside fish restaurant, watching turtles swimming in the wild 🐢 - magical 😍) & have always thoroughly enjoyed it! You’re not in the habit of eating large meals in the early afternoon, so that’s possibly why you couldn’t manage to finish it. Felicidades mis amigos 🎉🥂🍾 on attaining your Spanish Citizenship 🇪🇸 🇬🇮, enjoy the rest of your day. xx P💕💞🩷🙏💪
Another great history lesson for me, Graham. Those meals looked awesome and also, so happy for you both regarding the Spanish news. Enjoy the rest of the summer, you're both looking so tanned. ❤❤
Congratulations, Spain is lucky to have you both .❤ You both are honest hardworking kind and genuine people , you deserve every happiness going forward.👍
I’m so happy you enjoyed the sword fish Graham. I’m not a big fish fan especially salt water fish. I like freshwater fish bass, cat fish, crappie only if it’s deep fried. Luckily the part of Florida I live in has the best fishing lakes in the state. Take a good nap. Look forward to the next video. 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
I love these walks and talks ❤❤. It’s amazing what the architecture was like. Congratulations 🎉 being Spanish citizen now. Bravo 👏🏻 for eating the swordfish Graham. ❤❤
Very interesting about the name of the town - it makes sense. The meal you and Fiona ordered looked delicious. Glad you enjoyed the Swordfish - I’ve never tried it myself! lol Enjoy the rest of your day. Looks another lovely day there.
Congratulations on your Spanish citizenship 🎉🎉🩵🩷💐. I have a friend from school who also has, she really loves her SPANISH life & my 2 American cousins also they are so happy in Spain. Glad you enjoyed a super tasty meal it’s sent me to the fridge 😂 Love & hugs both 🥰🥰
Yay! Sdo glad you enjoyed sword fish again Graham , you've laid that ghost to rest. And it was fascinating hearing about the ancient wall..the line .. I'm in awe how good they were at building without the modern machinery we have today and the fact that some of what they built is still standing is incredible.
Wonderful that you enjoyed your swordfish. I know how those food aversions can be difficult to overcome. You both look splendid and felicidades por tu ciudadanía española. Cheers.
Congratulations on your Spanish citizenship. Hope it makes life easier for you. I am pleased you liked the swordfish after not having it for a while. Got to admit that I have never liked fish. When I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis several years ago I tried to eat some as it was said to be beneficial for it. Still couldn't stand it so I take cod liver oil instead. Research has shown that turmeric with black pepper (or bioperine) can be helpful in treating cancer and preventing it reoccurring. It's also useful in arthritis so I take it as a supplement in capsule form. It also gave one of our previous dogs (golden retriever) an extra year after she had a tumour removed. Take care and best wishes
I take 500 mg for fibromyalgia, arthrits and diabetes. I has not erased them but kept them from getting worse. (In addition to my Dr prescribed meds). It actually helped my fibromyalgia. My A1C dropped to 6.3 to 5.4 along with diet. Turmeric is a wonder root. I can't stand any fish but fried cod. I take 2000 mg of fish oil daily for to help with cholesterol . It works. Dr's orders. My Dr said the Turmeric may help with that too.
I have had my TIE since they first were issued in place of bit of green card which was useless. But that does not make me Spanish😂 just a resident. I considered obtaining Spanish nationality but too many loopholes to go thro and time it takes put me off.😂. I only just heard your news and all I can say is it's not over til it's over. Enjoy every moment of the wonderful life you have. By the way I love Pez Espada! ❤️❤️
Looks like you both had a fabulous lunch together, fish is very filling IDK whether you can get “doggie bags” for leftovers to eat later? Unsure how re-heated fish would be though? In Aus some hotels will either give you a plastic container or charge $1 for the container but you have to put the food in yourself & cannot comeback @ the hotel if you “give yourself stomach ache &/or the trots” LOL. Hope you both had a rest it did look quite warm on the vlog. Bet the G&T went down a treat. Nice to see you enjoying ea. other’s company, without ladders, paintbrushes or LED light strips being installed. Well done on being “Spanish” citizens. Have a fabulous morning, afternoon or evening 😘💐🐨🦘🇦🇺
Graham, as a cancer survivor of 17 years, I just wanted to give you a tip I learned from another survivor that’s not given out by all oncologists: Reduce carbs/ processed foods & eliminate ALL artificial sugars.
@@grahamthebaronhesketh. long over due , been wanting to send you & Fiona lil something to maybe have a drink and thank you both for being real ! Enjoy hearing you and Fiona’s take on the day 😊
