A year ago if I was the tell anyone that Jalen Brunson would average 28 his second season, everyone would’ve laughed at me. I agree with Stephen A. The rest of the folks seem to think that there should be no limit to a player, especially when you are a star, as to what he should do to win. As much I like NY teams to win. I don't want them playing hurt. It is not worth it man! If you are playing hurt, then you are doing too much. Yes, I have much respect for those who play hurt. But these guys have lives after sports. They shouldn't have to be pressured to play hurt to entertain us.
You not getting paid 100 mil for nothing.. guarantee you if you are offered a mil to play hurt you will do it.. listen he’s not doing too much .. he’s doing what is needed and what make you think he don’t want to be out there ?

By rule you are out until the doctor says you are ok. and btw... you believe these players are stipulated in their contracts to play hurt? It seems you are explicitly saying that these players are PAID to play hurt.
@@nhermogenes a head injury is totally different.. football players play with tons of injuries all the time.. and I’m saying if Brunson ain’t complaining about playing injured then why are we ? Of course if you can’t play then we dont expect you to. we see that in Randle, Mitch and Bojan none of them are healthy enough to play ..
@@johnmora6258 The conversation was "are we asking too much of Jalen". The question is asked of us....not to Jalen or any player. We know what Jalen's answer is. Otherwise he wouldn't have came back on the 2nd half. 100m contract has nothing to do with it as previously implied. He's doing it because he's competitive or the pressure of not wanting to let the team down. What I'm saying is go for the win...but not at the expense of long term health issues. And bcuz these player, not just Jalen, are at the edge of that ( starting 5 is playing 42-48 minutes average) then yes. We are asking too much.

Alrighty than folk's. In my honest opinion & estimation on game # 3 is that I don't think that BRUNSON will be on injury report & will be cautiously used when necessary if he's able especially late in the game if the game is tight . I think that the other players for the knicks are being underestimated in this conversation & shouldn't. THE question is to ME is that if the knicks can once again keep the game close in the 2nd half especially in the 4th quarter, I think that BRUNSON will be playing. As far as picking a winner of the game between the 2 teams I' ll pick the PACERS but wouldn't be surprised if the knicks pull it out if they keep it close & BRUNSON makes an appearance when the game is on the line late in the 4th quarter ' cause I think there is a good possibility it will be. I have no doubt that the knicks can keep the game within reach in the 2nd half & if they do I think they have a better chance of winning. ODDS are that PACERS WIN, but I ' taint betting against the N.Y. KNICKS to keep the game close. I' LL just say that if I was going to bet, I' LL take the PACERS by 6 right now on this game & that the series goes 6 games to the advantage of the knicks. This is my opinion after listening to this conversation & I don't know at this time if BRUNSON is out due to injury
