Perk had 7 games, but when the Nuggets lost two games at HOME and had to go to Minnesota your thoughts on the outcome will change. If you replace Rudy Gobert with Victor Wembanyama, he would have been able to slow down Joker. He Blocked Jokic four times that last game of the season with a Spurs victory. Victor Wembanyama is the True Defensive Player of the year. He makes his team infinitely and drastically better while on the floor. Rudy Gobert doesn’t make his already good defensive team defensively better. Wemby would have not stopped Jokic, but he certainly would have challenged ALL of his shots and gave him a hard time.
