Eastern Himalayas has so dense forest..usually in western Himalayas trees started to getting less dense above 3000 meters

Hi July, Need advice.I would like to visit in April and have a few queries.I am originally from shillong but live in Australia.I will manage ILP. 1.How much walking is involved between different lakes.Total kms of walking 2.Does it rain heavily in April? 3.I see locals carrying guns.Is that for tigers?Is wild animals an issue? How many days it takes in total to complete the trek?

7 days in total but it took us 9 days due to rainfall we had to take shelter in caves since we had no proper raincoats during our trek so i suggest you to go for this trek with proper plan and trekking gears.

August to September is good! i prefer these months as mountains are covered with wild flowers and temperature is mild! But avoid monsoon though! Contact Emudu trekkers for mire detail!

thankyou bro for such honest compliments. Means a lot as i put my efforts in editing this video. And yes there was leech till first camp we applied dettol and odomos to prevent ourselves from damdum (flies), mosquitoes and leeches Since it was already october and the weather was cold there we did not encounter with any of these later after the first camp.
