Love the varigate! I'd recommend putting those gates into envelopes, and using the envelope to CV the VCAs for a smoother sound. Also, try 2 gate/2 CV (or even 4 CV) mode to get some awesome 1V/Oct sequencing from Varigate. It has quantization to a bunch of scales and it is very easy to make sequences!
thanks so with my Varigate 4+ send the gate outs to Malekko Quad EG gate inputs and route to quad vca? I will try some patches this weekend and season to taste. Appreciate the insight.
@@GuitarsAndSynths yeah! I was going to say the same thing when I watched your video. You’ll have more control over the length of sound when you use the quad envelope to the CV inputs on your VCA.
