It is ridiculous how much importance this guys give to stats… yards, etc By those standards Elway and Marino were far better than Montana Tarkenton was far better than Bradshaw and Staubach Hell last year Dak was far better than Mahomes. Burrow will become even smarter, he will get more experience and will be a threat. Statistically who cares if he is 8th in the league if he beats Mahomes in the AFC Championship. So, no, we have not seen the best of Burrow yet.

You have to throw out the stats of last season regarding Burrow. He had 4 games where he couldn't move and then he had 6 games where the Bengals were a dynamo. Then he was out. To put his 2023 stats in perspective he was the lowest rated QB in the first 3 weeks of the season. He then finished with those numbers -- unreal.

Mahomes has had the best protection of any quarterback over the last five years, the one stretch of where he had a few guys banged up and he was immediately injured with a toe injury… Joe Burrow had one of the worst lines in the league and still got them to a Super Bowl and beat Patrick Mahomes. p.m. has a great offensive line and an elite offense.
