The only difference in the Lakers last two seasons is that they played the Nuggets earlier last season. If they played the Nuggets in the first round two season ago, they would have lost in the first round two seasons ago. If they played somebody other then Denver in the first round last season, I like their chances. … If Reddick turns out to be an upgrade at coach, that could make a world of difference. People are in denial about how lacking Ham was last season. A healthy Vando, Vincent and Dinwiddie could make a word of difference next season (even if Davis and James regress a bit).
Chris is so wrong. The lakers aren’t contenders bc they don’t have guys who play well on both ends. Every other contender has a bunch of guys who play well on both ends. It has nothing to do with AD and Lebron not being as good as other stars. Watch Jamal Murray against the lakers and then watch him against the Wolves in the post season. It’s night and day difference.

Great job but those coaches are not there because of Rob, they’re there because of JJ. Rob just gets the credit for it just like he got the credit for AD although he’s there because of LeBron. The thing I dont think annoying has realised is what this dod for the validity of the Play In Tournament.. The team that won it fired their coach right after winning ..the season is constantly being called a horrible failure..the exact same players that won it are the same ones coming back and the general consensus is they are sub par players.This all will make the play in game lose any level of growth or validation within the organisations and worse the public.
Im pretty sure the root of the lakers ship sinking slowly is that Jeannie buss runs this team with her heart and not her head, she can't clean house where it needs to be cleaned because she has emotional attachment to the people in those positions that need to be replaced

it is so frustrating to see the 2020 lakers roster slowly get deteriorated by shitty front office management to the point where they have multiple significant holes in the roster and the front office refuses or is to incompetent to fix them and it’s still somehow lebrons fault… no one should be expecting a title from this team but acquiring quality complementary role players to give your team its best shot to win is not a big ask. this team used to have Caruso, KCP, Brooke Lopez and Kuzma and they let them all go
@@Watchingvideoslikeu Lopez and Kuzma for sure (and with good reason), but KCP wasn't (especially after the 2020 playoffs where was excellent in his role) and Caruso was legit one of the Lakers' favourite players whilst he was there.

Jeanie buss has taken up the torch that her brother Jim laid down, she is better than him by a Covid pandemic. She has accelerated everything now though to catch up to Jim. I hope they put the team up for sale because Daddy surely would approve of what’s happened the last 5 years. Truly a pathetic display. Every other season they let James han]string them and making moves and never have they wised up. All of his promises of people coming to play with him has been a joke. But he controls who gets the ball and how often and he will never concede to AD being the best player on the team. He makes sure that his scoring numbers and shot attempts exceed AD even if it’s not for the best of the team.

Nick hit the nail on the head. The rest of the league owners and gm's just have this hate and disgust for the Lakers and it's fairly obvious. The Lakers inquire about trades and these owners and gm's will ask for the moon and stars but will then trade these players for next to nothing when it's another team. I find that odd. They will give away players to the Celtics within their own division but if the Lakers try and make a trade they have these ridiculous demands.
