nick does not understand that you lose integrity by being overly bias. if your not going to keep it authentic, then what is the point of having a quarterback tier in the first place? also, even if Mahome's fall, it does not mean he cant work his way back up the mountain by the end of the season.
@Twenty_Four_7 exactly. Hes toooo biased. No point. He dropped Daniel's a tier for getting hurt??? If it was his qb wins Stat then he should've had Purdy at the top all last year next to Allen and Lamar. Like wtf
Nick never did have any integrity, Those he likes he elevates and those he doesn't stay on the second of the bottom tier and it's not based on stats, or how they behave in a game. This is pure theater and nothing more to get clicks.
The wins are a QB stat bothers me. In this past SB mahomes had one TD drive in regulation and it was 16 yards off a miffed punt. Use your eyes for these games the chiefs are winning in spite of mahomes.

it wouldnt matter. Nick moves the goalpost when it comes to Mahomes/Caleb/Trevor.... its about stats, wait no its about one clutch run in a game where dude throws 2 picks, wait no its about QB wins, but Nick isnt a QB wins guy lmfao.... dude is so inconsistent with his takes when its a QB/team that he likes.

Thats the definition of moving the goalpost. I just think Nick is super reluctant to acknowledge when one of his favorites is playing bad, and uses way more excuses for their poor play in comparison to a player he doesnt like as much. I'm just calling it out for what it is
Ughh, Baker did not play awful. Yes he threw two bad picks in the 2nd qt., but he threw for 370yrds and 3 tds. I will take that from any qb all day and win 75% of the games. Lamar is the clear cut MVP and playing the best qb of anyone in the league. As of now.
Dude. I watched that game start to finish. He played bad. Got off to a good start then literally did nothing until garbage time. Stop it. lol. PFF ranked him 26th in OFF for all week 7 QBs
@JWLSports wasn't his best game no. I watched the game also. He did what I have said has always been his problem. He goes inconsistent for a bit. But he didn't do awful. If your comparing him to Lamar sure. But 370yrd 3 tds. I will take it. Garbage time or not.
There's a difference between quarterback wins and quarterback not losses. Mahomes continues to make clutch, winning plays every game. He's playing with a declining Kelce and my high school's JV team and finding little moments of spectacular at just the right times to get wins. Other guys may avoid big mistakes, deliver the ball to their playmakers, harvest stats and not lose, but it looks different and if you've watched enough football you know it when you see it.
I think like the third week it was when Mahomes had a really bad game they all three agreed that as long as he gets the Ws and makes the plays when they need it he’ll be on top and you can’t really knock anyone who hasn’t lost yet
It's literally a segment called Mahomes Mountain that is focused on the regular season rn that makes no sense lol even Nick doesn't follow playoff rules when he's reacting to regular season things @@ericpendleton6474

And what do you do with Dak with that massive contract? Can't eat it, and there won't be many takers via trade for that price... MAYBE you could just trade him for a 7th round pick as long as the new team picks up his entire contract, but more than likely, the Cowboys would have to chip in $ to the team Dak was traded to.
Some of what he’s doing is shtick. You don’t really need to overanalyze it. He’s not moving Mahomes down until they lose a game. And if he plays well in a loss he still probably wouldn’t move him down anyway. Some people just don’t care about what Lamar does until he stops choking in playoff games. Until he shrugs off that narrative guys like Nick Wright are going to always have it in their back pocket.
Nick tried to say that the ravens win wasn’t anything special because they were down 14 and that missed td by evans and his injury, takes away from the ravens win. Like they were gonna get whoop otherwise. Lamar has come back from multiple double digit deficits. That’s something new and improved. That raiders loss right, and after the worst game of the season, to almost beat Nicks Chiefs. It’s like something clicked. Side note, Isiah likely is a dawg. He said after the chiefs game, that was us at our worst, and we almost got them. lookevery game of the season that seems to be true. He hasn’t gotten much in terms of numbers like he was projected. But he’s the first to be in the picture to celebrate and or defend his teammates. Beautiful thing to see

You could've even added McNabb to the list of QBs Brady beat. At the time that Brady faced him, McNabb was arguably the best QB in the NFC in that 2004 season
@@JWLSports but to your point though, Mahomes actually faced and beat better competition before the SB than in it. The top of the top guys in Lamar, Josh, Joe are all in the AFC and he's beaten them all. In the SB, it's gotten a little easier. Brady the same, but the difference is even some of the worst/other QBs Brady has faced trump that for Mahomes. Flacco was a better QB than Jimmy G was at the points that these guys faced them. Even though people will clown Foles and Sanchez, Foles was also better than Jimmy G. Sanchez was damn near the same type QB as Jimmy G, even including off the field as well lmao. Eli Manning gets clowned too, but even still, it's not like he was like this terrible QB. He had really good moments. He's to me what Purdy can end up being at his floor possibly, but Eli Manning was Purdy+ imo. People clowned Goff at that time, but even with that being said, he wasn't terrible then and definitely isn't now. If you compare his SB season to Hurts in 2022, I will give Hurts the edge on the Mahomes side, but it is NOT by a landslide. Goff and that Rams offense was insane in 2018. Remember, that was the same year they had that 54-51 barnburner on MNF with KC. A more favorable argument actually would be to boost up Pat's conference competition as opposed to his SB competition. His SB competition was actually worse
This is the most disgusting ranking Nick has had. This one basically ruined any credibility he might’ve had. He continues to report on sports from the side of a fan instead of unbiased observer. The show is getting harder and harder to watch because of his takes and homeism.
Go poll all the NFL GMs. 32 of 32 take Mahomes to lead their team for the rest of the year. That logic makes perfect sense. He's the best QB in the league and it's recognized as such
Mahomes hasn’t carried the Chiefs for 2 seasons now. If he finishes this season with more interceptions than touchdowns, he’s no longer a top 5 qb all time. A prime QB cannot put those numbers up and be considered top 5.
Thank you! I don’t care bout SBS as the end all be all when judging a qb. Media puts waay too much stock into SB’s when that is 100% a team accomplishment.
@@boogidwnej179I never heard anyone argue Brady’s numbers, maybe towards his later years cause of his age, but not because it was something that was a regular thing
Nick still has a man crush on Caleb and isn't going to move him. Judging QB requires a lot of things. O-Line, RB, WR, and Coaching to name a few. Who you play and when for that matter. Does your defense carry you more than you do for the team? YAC makes a difference, having a QB throw a three-yarder and the WR run for 80 yards is on him and not the QB.
I wish they would ask Nick if mahomes loses and continues to play like he's playing. Will he drop from the mountain top? Because according to what He's trying to imply he would but we all know he wouldn't. He'll come up with a new excuse to keep him at top

Nick Wright is nuts, plain and simple. Nobody who watched the Chiefs play this year would give Mahomes even a slight majority if the credit for their unbeaten record. He clearly hasn't been bad enough to lose them any games, but that's only because the defense and coaching have been able to prevent losses!
Fyi, earlier on "Get Up" they showed where Patrick M is STILL excelling & is above every QB in the league, in each game?! In the 4th quarter of every game so far, he hasn't thrown any picks, & has the highest QBR rating, 91.8%, the highest of any QB in the league ‼️ In their last game the Chiefs had a conversion rate of 80% in the red zone. And he's on pace to having a career high in accuracy of 67.9% in completion, despite losing ALL of his receivers!!!
@@JWLSportsU might as well just say, u aren't a fan of Patrick Mahomes or can't seem to see where he is especially stellar as a QB‼️ Even Tim Brady announcing the game can see Pat's strengths?!?! But if you can't see any area where he's still brilliant, yea, u're losing me. Not going to bother to engage & watch ur channel. Sad, really.
Uh nowhere did I say Mahomes isn’t great or bad. So not sure what you’re talking about there bud. It’s more my fault you don’t understand that Mahomes is bottom of the league in air yards. He’s literally under Bo Nix, Daniel Jones, and Will Levis Mahomes is dead last in Intended air yards per pass attempt - Average depth of target, whether completed or not
@@JWLSportsAbsolutely statistically Pat is having his worst season!!! And overall on a statistical level the lowest. There's NO questioning that. He's so far, also having a worse season this yr than last, b/c last yr it was more of the receivers which included Travis Kelce that were letting him down w/ drops in the reg season! Basically similar to the criticisms us Caitlin C' fans were saying that in the beginning of her rookie season, A LOT of her TOs were b/c her teammates weren't catching her passes!!! And SO it was something that the offensive had to keep working on. Peter King, has spoken abt this, & had a great one on one w/ Andy Reid after last yr's SB & he interviewed Pat when they played in Germany last fall & has spoken abt this a few times, as Pat told Peter that they would clean up the drops & the penalties b4 the end of the season. And after they lost badly to the Raiders on Xmas day, they worked on offense, & simplified practices to help! BUT it's the 49ers' fans, podcasters, sports pundits who themselves are saying, since last wkend, "STOP comparing Patrick Mahomes to Brock Purdy!!!" And they've ALL been saying that since Sunday's game!!! The 49ers' had another receiver go down, & the Chiefs lost another replacement Juju, who had become WR #1 & so on the spot, Andy & Nagy had to completely change the plan & plays! In the press conference at the end, HC Kyle Shanahan didn't say much, other than that "they got their asses kicked!!!". I enjoy some of the 49er channels. I had heard that in their locker room after the game, Kyle laid into Brock Purdy for 5 mins. in front of the media & in front of all the players! Honestly I think that's terrible!!! Yes, he had 3 bad interceptions, BUT I don't know how well Kyle set him up for success. The difference is, Pat had 2 again, BUT he made up for them, in 4 significant plays in the game!!! SO, yes, his stats for the game were bad but his plays & some of his throws, NO other QB I'm sorry are making! I enjoy listening to Former NFL player Chris Long, on his podcast, "Greenlight." Not sure if u've heard of him?! He played in St. Louis & then played 1 yr in New England, & won a SB w/ Brady & the nxt yr played 4 the Eagles & won a 2nd SB! He's done some live takes after certain games. And we went live after their game on Sun, & talked about the plays that Pat made! Tom Brady also was announcing the game on between the 2 teams & he was very good!

I've been saying it for years... Mahomes is fantastic at scrambling, but that's where it ends. He throws tons of jump balls. He has the occasional accurate dart. People act like he's this exceptional all around QB. If DC's would recognize that it's his scrambling that makes him anything other than average then they would just spy him and he'd find it really hard to win games. In 22 they spied him the beginning of the season and he was having a horrible year. Teams stopped spying late in the season and they started winning again. Hey NFL, spy him and problem is solved.
I kind of agree with you on all the Mahomes points except you have to also look at the qbs he's beat to get to the Super Bowl as well. It's unfair to say he hasn't beaten a great qb in the Super Bowl when they've all been in the AFC in recent years
Yeah but no stage is any bigger than the Super Bowl. And look who Brady had to beat as well, Manning, Mahomes, Big Ben, Rivers, Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, etc. Mahomes has beaten, Tua, Ryan Tannehill, Jimmy G, Trevor Lawrence. It’s not even close honestly. Brady has beaten other Super Bowl winners and bonafide hall of famers on great teams.
@@JWLSports true I’m not diminishing anything Brady did I just don’t think it’s fair to downplay Mahomes’s Super Bowl wins when he had to get through quality qbs like Josh Allen multiple times, Lamar multiple times and Joe Burrow. lol no no. I’m not downplaying it. I’m just pointing out the inconsistency. Nick wants to act like all these qbs and such aren’t that good. It depends on how you rank. Lamar is no doubt having the best season of any QB this year and 100% deserves to the MVP, so if that's all you go off of, he should be number 1. But Mahomes is the best QB in the league. I'm sorry he just is, and it's going to take a lot for that not to be the case. Mahomes probably needs to lose in the playoffs this year, and the next for it to really even be a conversation imo. So if that's how you rank things, Mahomes deserves to be at the top.
Mahomes is the best because I think he would get the most in return in a trade with another NFL team. Allen would get a lot too. Lamar is always going to get less than the other two even though he’s also really good.
Pausing to make your Jayden Daniels take right after he explains himself why he moved him down then you say it makes no sense. I think that’s called being obtuse

Nick says hes not a QB wins guy but mahomes is doing great and at the top literally ONLY because the defense has them undefeated... Geno is leading in multiple passing stats but is 4-3 so now stats dont matter, wins matter. Jordan Love and Mahomes both have 8 picks - and Love has 2x passing TDs as Mahomes - but Mahomes interceptions get dismissed yet Love's INTs are a problem. Josh Allen gets bashed for 5+ years for turning the ball over, this year has 12TDs-0ints, now all the sudden Nick thinks Josh is playing too safe.... other than Nicks LeBron over MJ foolishness for clicks, his merry-go-round standards for QBs from week-to-week to prop up Mahomes/Caleb/Trevor are just as ridiculous. I think all 3 of his QBs he creams for are league-average AT BEST, and probably closer to below league average if you look at the numbers objectively.
Julian, this is so frustrating to watch. Not sure im going to watch anymore of these in the feature. How Lamar is not on the top is beyond stupid, moving JD5 down, havining Dak over anoyone, Nick is such a tool. Im a casual and know better. There hasn't been a QB that has played MORE clutch than Patrick M?! The stats bear that out.
