Thorgil is a very interesting character. Definitely not a good guy yet strangely charismatic too. The way he talks to his little brother is actually wholesome in a weird way. He is the only one didn’t mock him and tried to help him

I mean, if you exploit others, you don't really get to complain when you get exploited. That's not to excuse Canute's methods of course, but it's not like Ketil is innocent either.
@Syllkort I mean I couldn't complain if he ended up becoming a slave since he owned slaves, but he didn't stage a murder in order to invade other people's farms...
