I remember looking at her for the first time in the character archives when I first downloaded the game and immediately I knew I needed her. 11 months later, she is now present and being mained in my team. Never been happier
hii!! i recommend bursting on kokomi only when her skill cooldown says 9 or 10 seconds! it will reset the duration of her jellyfish if it's on the field [basically, it'll stay longer on the field!] and give her more healing potential :)
Haha i do xiao's vermillian domain and there is always a xiao and and a healer already, so since i only have one dps (hu tao) makes the healer suffer through healing the both of us 😂
as a hu tao main i love kokomi mains because they give me that extra vaporize buff! the first time i hit 100k on Hu Tao's charged atk was thanks to a Kokomi providing that buff in coop at full HP
as a kokomi main, i had 2 experience with hutao mains. 1) was when i hesitated to use my burst during that sus albedo dragonspine event. the other 2 on the party started to have low hp's. i thought if i heal everyone imma get flamed HARD by the hutao main.long story short, the hutao main was so low on hp i thought it died. but turns out theyre expert at dodging so i just said "f*ck it imma use my burst the other 2 are on very low hp" good thing the hutao didnt actually flame me (they had full hp by the time my burst ended, they killed the enemy tho our line up was a hutao + me on kokomi + an xq and a kazuha 2) during the golden apple archipelago. i didnt see this person swapped their half hp yelan to a red hp hutao. what happened was i was paired with a half hp yelan, a yellow hp ayaka and 3/4 hp shenhe. i just wanted to have everyone at full hp (kokomi main things healing everyone before and after the fight) in the middle of me casting my jellyfish they swapped to red hp hutao, their hutao got healed to full then they left the coop 🤷
@@nev781 honestly imo if someone is trying to use hu tao in coop and their hu tao doesnt do very well at full HP then they shouldnt bring her (speaking as a hu tao main)
@@moodii_ds also that, someone instant locks in hutao so us three work around the hutao but alot of hutao locks i see theyre the first to die always and us three are left struggling because theres no actual dps
Don't feel bad. It happens, especially when you aren't used to playing with a character. Someone once told me "it's impossible someone to die if they have Kokomi" and I laughed because the few times I was able to play with her, my characters or my sister's (co op in the recent event where we could design domains) died lol 😅 you did a great job!
unless someone is very good at dodging, having both xiao and hutao in same team without zhongli is already a bad sign to fail azhada. ive met xiao user numerous times in domain like blizzards or azhada, only a few that can survive and deal crazy damage on ulti
I've seen weird hu tao mains, saying don't bring a healer and die in like 10 seconds before they actually start fighting-. Like bro if you think you can just tank everything then make sure your build is so godly that you kill the enemy before it kills you. A healed hu tao will still deal more damage than a dead hu tao lmao.
As a Xiao main it's painful to see people not dodging while using him 😢 I somehow managed to plunge in between azdaha's stomps, when soloing, but it's is still far from perfect. And I certainly don't use it in coop mode. Moving as far as possible when he is so aggressive is the most optimal for team overall.
@@rileycyrus2272yes but still they have a higher risk of dying with less than 50% HP and so again a dead Hu Tao will deal less damage^^I saw so many Hu Taos die bc they don‘t dodge and run away from heal.
Actually you did great! Even chased xiao to heal 😂 I dont trust healers in coop at all after my al experience, my food and dodging skills are always ready 😅
HI Jimmy! I have a few suggestions. You can stay within your Jellyfish AOE so you have bubble damage. And Ult around 8 or 9 secs left on Jellyfish cooldown to maximize up time more than 100%, unless you want to change the heal AOE area. She is so fun but can be challenging when players get too confident because you're there.
I basically was wishing for Kokomi for her hydro application to Neuvillette skills, but I lost 50/50 so I end up thinking maybe Sigewinne could be a good hydro support after all 🥲
playing kokomi in co-op can be a lot of fun!! but you do have to be aware of when you’re casting your skill and burst in order to fully take advantage of her healing. especially in rock frog fight, where players take damage a lot without a shielder. however, you did good for your first time!! players just need to stop believing that they’re invincible lol
As an old Kokomi Main I wish you luck haha. Other people already gave you some tips, Kokomi is really easy to play, but hard to master. But the gap is really big, I would say you are not even using 20% of her power yet 😂. Once you learn to jellyfish refresh and lose your fear (always throw jellyfish at the boss and never leave its side), you will be facetanking Azhdaha with a hand on your back
playing as kokomi on azhdaha boss + hu tao and xiao is hell if youre playing for the first time, make sure you have your ulti whenever he switches phases
I watched your pulling video for her and congratulations! I just got kokomi too and I’m so excited to build her. I’m very curious to see who I’m gonna like running more her or Baizhu. I was impressed with your Komomi damage there tho I know I was seeing some 4K+ in there.
welcome to the daily life of a kokomi main, ive gotten pretty good at healing everyone and seeing opportunities after being a kokomi main and i just love helping so now i can calculate the timings in my head from the energy i get in co op to have my burst, and timing the jellyfish and burst is def an important part. not everyone sees the jellyfish or comes close to it necessarily so i mostly put it right next to the boss to get more energy so that my burst will be more available and it can heal everyone no matter in distance too so i figured the place to put your jellyfish is also important, and if your co op partners dont generate much energy the timings get more imporant
You can exclude Barbara. I think she just got nerfed. Her burst healing all in any place was a glitch they said and now she can heal only within range.
Actually, by healing Qiqi is the best healer due to her having the highest healing in the game with 100% uptime, but by utility, yes, Koko and Bennett are top tier.
Welcome to Kokomi main club! I would suggest you not to use your ultimate right after you spawn jellyfish. Your ultimate will reset it live, so it will be better to wait until ~12-10 on your elemental skill. So by the time you will make another jellyfish, you will have your ultimate ready as well (I mean CD) Not sure if my explanation is clear, but you can read descriptions of your skills and I hope you will understand what I mean
Honestly, it really is hard to be a healer in Azhdaha domain since there's more place to run away from you Which people really like to do for some reasons :>
Positioning when the whole center is covered in his shockwaves is a bit hard for some people. The boss in general has really hard to dodge attacks and I always predodge his moves so it can't hit me but the bullet hell with electro spikes falling and ice spikes raining etc. are incredibly tough x.x

@@noidea5927 I like the characters that heal everyone no matter where they are like jeans burst, Kokomi burst or Barbara skill and burst :) you're not bound to position while using these specific things to save them at least

Sometimes it's so hard to keep optimal 8 second rotation for Koko in coop. People like to suicide without thinking of your cooldowns and er. I mean how many times i had to ult prematurely because people don't keep track of my jellyfish and jump on the enemies head on. Not even dodging! Whyyyy~? And because of that i have a 5-7 second window where i can't heal a shit and people die. Good thing that in most cases they know they're idiots and don't blame a healer, but there're times when a person behaves other way. Thanx god such cases are rare. I just wonder why people stop dodging if they have a Zhongli shield or a healer on the team. Is their brain shuts down or something? Like dodge, you idiots, it'll help shield to stay longer on you and can save you from one-shot in a pinch. And will help your healer do their job more easily instead of chasing you all over the field and dying themselves. Egh....
5:49 the healer pain is shared.. when you said how you feel i immediately knew how you feel, anytime i play barbara and a dmg dealing cahracter in co op 90% of the time im still barbara because im scared i wont heal in time LMAO
They brought the entire suicide squad into one co-op match Hu tao who needs to be like under 30 or 50 percent HP idk how much Xiao who takes damage after using his burst Nahida being a squishy character that is very vulnerable when you use her elemental skill and then there's Kokomi just trying to heal then all
I got her on her 2 rerun and it really is so stressful when in coop because sometimes your teammates decide to be difficult and be reckless so now I seldom bring her to coop this days unless nobody wanted to be a healer
damn, it's always cryo azhdaha. People try to tank this but fail, if they only wait that would be easier. The same thing happened with me, i was Yaoyao and my bunny had a cooldown but everyone decided to tank his tail and ofc died... Please don't think that healer can fully heal you during this and remember that healer had a cd of e and ult as well

To be honest they were scattered around, you can’t help it especially that the domain is huge! If it’s a huge domain , it’s hard to rush back to the healer, so I usually try to be close to the healer and keep track on the map! In general it’s like that, they keep track of your hp and I keep track of their location. And hope for the best😂
Hoyoverse really shouldn't have advertised that like they expected their playerbase to see it as a good thing. I didn't skip her, but I did think it was a really dumb design choice when she first came out.
In coop I think Baizhu is a better pick for healer because E heals a lot and It is all players also his burst heal all players to the only downside is the E cooldown if you have c1 you have the best coop healer and le er need thath on field you barely need
I lost my 50/50 to diluc kinda sad but i actually wanted diluc since i like him and didn't have him. I'll probably save my guaranteed for neuvillette now
she used to be the only person id use in co op in 2021 now for healer i use baizhu a little more since he can reach people in co op but i got kokomis weapon yesterday :'))))))) finally

as a day one kokomi main today was my first experience with a toxic hu tao in co-op. it was so funny, their hu tao was level 70 and they kept saying "no kokomi!!! no koko." i told them im not letting everyone die for their dmg bonus and they said "yes dying!!!" "ugh fine ill use my terrible kazuha" but at least their kazuha was leveled😭😭 (they died instantly, even with kokomi. no dodging skills at all.) i don't typically make fun of peoples builds but their hu tao was a big yikes
never being so hype hearing kokomi theme like this. it sounds so sad yet dramatic. 4k primo used by me to summon her and failed, further my sadness when hearing her theme...should i wait for new healer in fontaine or go for her now..maybe focalor gonna be a great healer.
Until you get used to it and everyone wants you to be a heal slave around your friends LMAO. Kokomi was one of my first characters and I never regretted pulling her over the raiden shogun. She made my first taser team possible with fiscl/beidou/sucrose and kokomi as the driver.
I just got Kokomi at 76 pity after I got Tighnari at around 80 pity, and I already got her to lvl 90 and 49k hp, I’m very happy cuz I already waited one year after I lost to Keqing last summer
i ask a Hu Tao if they wanted a heal and i got an aggressive YES back after waiting a minute. They probably where waiting on me but i wanted to make sure it was fine. edit 1:But please if we ever play together DO Not Run away from my heals, it makes it hard to keep you guys alive 😭 edit 2: I mean generally btw, had to chase down most players in critical and have not time to focus on everyone else so they die
me first time using kokomi, i never back away from azdaha even when he does that stomp, if you do this, your Ult is like 100% uptime only evade when he use the floor is lava, that one stings alot DoT
As a xiao main I would never bring xiao to fight azhdaha, firstly becuz his burst requires him to stay close with azhdaha and it will be a waste if I can only dodge atks during his burst, secondly his hp decrease during the burst + without shielder he's very easy to die
You did a great job, but it’s hard to save two suicidal people and a god who inflicts burning lmao. This is my opinion but I’ve never seen a HuTao or Xiao player who can stay alive without the team being centered around them (coop shield and heals). They’re not very coop friendly and the team had zero synergy so it wasn’t going to be an easy fight. Just got Kokomi and I’m still building her, I’d like to use her in coop one day but I hate the expectation players can tank everything 🙄 she has cooldowns you dummies
i just got kokomi as well, and i've been testing her out a bit to figure out how to best use her healing, and it's very interesting! personally, my favorite healers are bennett, shinobu, diona, yaoyao, and baizhu bcs their healing is a bit easier to manage, but i hope to be able to use kokomi, barbara, qiqi, and noelle in the future in co-op when i get used to using them more ! as for jean :') she's not home yet.
I have hp/hp/ healing bonus on kokomi. I have energy problems because the substats doesn't roll on er a lot. Should i change the artifacts to er/hp/hp?
Healing bonus circlet is a must if you want more healing for both hp and atk scaling healers, so if you're gonna use ER sands you should keep the Healing bonus circlet and have ER/HP/Healing bonus. But I recommend you to use Prototype amber, it helps with both healing and energy, especially at higher refiment.
@@JimmyChenGaming 1- Always place the jellyfish right next to your opponents (In a place where it can hit them and also having a space for healing) Since it’s your only source of restoring energy 2- Use her ult when the jellyfish’s CD is at 13s-10s (14s is too early & 9s is late) lastly another jellyfish at the end of her ult, That’s how you can make the best out of her passive Hope that helps :)!
