If you want a specific clear shape, like how I did a moon, then you should include it as an outline with transparent areas inside (keeping in mind that the pin attachment will show through in the center of your design if it is transparent there!). On the other hand, if you don't want an outline you could try requesting a specific shape when you submit your design, but I'm not sure if they are able to do that!
id leave the protective films on so they are more likely to make it to the customer unharmed :D just write "remove film before use" on the bottom of the card in small print
One nice thing about these pins is they are very light, they only weigh about 1 oz.! I ship them in a padded envelope and let Etsy calculate the shipping based on the weight and size of the parcel and it is usually around $3.50 to ship anywhere in the US. Unfortunately, they can't ship at letter envelope prices due to being thicker than 1/4th of an inch with the pin and pin-backing piece attached.
i know this is an older video but im thinking of buying through them but saw reviews talking about the durability of the pin backs, how long lasting are these and have you still got them to comment on now? will they fall off?
I don't recommend them if you want something that will last a long time. When I was selling the pins on Etsy it seemed like nearly half of the orders said the pin backs didn't hold up. I sent a lot of refunds because of this and I no longer sell them in my shop at all. Their quality control is very unreliable across all of their products, I don't order from them anymore
I've had my pins made from them and I was not really pleased with the results it looked like the pins paint or ink chipped off and I'm never going through that again
