I'm such a big fan of In This Moment! Maria Brink has a great voice and writes killer lyrics. She's had a hard life and really gets deep in her songwriting. _Sick Like Me_ is also badass! Karen of the Korn, Metal Gaga, Metal Christina, Girly Skinny Puppy, Writhing Tool, Nine Inch Bloody Nails, Rob Zombie's sister, Princess Otep, Putting the Marilyn in Manson....whatever comparison. She's all of it. It's only radio friendly because it's dance thrash. Club music of the 90s.

Maria Brink has some incredible sings. Floor Jensen released another cover yesterday, Adagio. You need to listen to it.

Some of her older stuff she growls, don't know of any videos for those though. I'm pretty sure she's influenced by Otep, it comes out even more in some of their edgier songs that revolve more around trauma. This is one of the harder songs from their more modern work. That said, even though I love metal one of my faves is one of their lightest songs The Fighter with her vocals and the depths of pathos she can pour into her performance front and center. If you haven't seen Jinjer's newest video Home Back, it is incredibly powerful - about their hometown getting caught in the war in eastern Ukraine. Sit Stay Roll Over live in Melbourne is awesome too.

I like otep and am a fan for sure but otep can't even tie Maria Brink's shoe's. Both are very talented writers and musicians but otep is a one dimensional artist. Where as Maria Brink's capable of doing everything. She's proven that over the years and if you ever go to one of her shows you definitely won't forget it.
