I've heard that song before, didn't know it was from Rob Zombie; however, I normally don't remember who sang what. It's nice to know there is a singer/songwriter/director that doesn't fit the stereotype of drug using, crazy rocker. I wonder what type of animals he rescues does he focus on dogs, horses, or more exotic animals like bears?

Rob and Sheri ( the woman in the hat)/are vegan hippies from upstate New York. He is in tour with his inspiration Alice Copper. Yeah film fan. He is nothing like his character 1,000 corpses is part of a trilogy. 3 from Hell and The Devil's rejects. He has done two Halloween remakes and a movie remake of the Munsters movie Though that car on screen is just the family car. Dragula is Grandpa Munster's coffin car. ( Vampire). Got held up in customs. This was the 1st single from his 1st solo album Hellbilly Deluxe circa 98/99. Before that he was in White Zombie. With that drummer ,John Tempasta. On strings were Blasko and Riggs. He has an interesting back story, tours often and his concerts are affordable. Got 1st section off the floor for under a hundred bucks Canadian in 2018. Touring with Marilyn Manson on the twins of evil :Evil never dies tour. Lots of albums,lots of music. his farm. Keeps busy,happily married to his leading lady. Stays out of trouble. As for the shows...actors act evil roles, not everyone is a method actor. lol.

FINALLY A reactionist who doesn't keep pausing the damn music video's every couple of seconds to then start waffling on with themselves and you actually wait till you've watched it to then give your reaction, we need more people like you on here doing reactions because these people that do reactions that just keep pausing the video every couple of seconds to then just start waffling on with themselves for minutes on end before then unpausing it to then only pause it again to waffle on for another five minutes bore the damn hell outa me! You should understand that the pauses are there on some reaction channels to keep their videos from being removed for copyright violations. some artists are more strict than others.

i had the pleasure of bartending a party that rob zombie and his wife turned up to many years ago. they are the nicest people (even when their bartender is totally star-struck) and they tip well. i live in california so ive gotten to meet a fair amount of celebrities. Rob's easily in my top 5 favorite celebrity encounters.

Best Rob Zombie song hands down. I crank this song up in my car and I'm headbanging to this song as I drive. I will play this song in jukebox in a bar whenever I can. Best Rob Zombie song hands down. Thanks for the video again. Fun fact, humor punk band Psychostick made a Christmas parody of this song which is also fun to listen to during the Holiday Season.

One of my friends calls him the Dr. Seuss of heavy metal and I can't help but giggle every time I listen to his music now. The dancing girl is his wife Sheri-Moon Zombie, he puts her in everything even his movies. I love her as Baby Firefly. My gf went to the same college as him and had his traditional arts professor. He remembered Robert and his younger brother Michael (Spider-One, lead singer for Powerman 5000), he told us while Michael was the more talented of the two, Robert was definitely the more creative one. I first got introduced to him in the band White Zombie and found out he used to do the set art for Head Banger's Ball on MTV. I have seen him in concert so many times I lost count.

Now that you've checked out Rob Zombie you need to complete the music circle. Rob Zombie was previously in a group called White Zombie which is more metal less industrial than Hellbilly Deluxe was. Check out the Misfits for a similar horror vibe, Alice Cooper Group for the theatre, and Ministry for the heaviness and industrial flavor. You never know, you might not dig Rob Zombie but you might dig some of his influences.

Trivia: The hot rod shown in the video for the song that Rob Zombie drives is known as "The Munster Koach" from the American TV show "The Munsters". The "Dragula" was Grandpa Munster's, and even though the song is called "Dragula", the car named "Dragula" (from the same show) does not appear in the video for the song.

I've seen Rob Zombie in concert (including originally when it was White Zombie) several times. The screens in the back showed a mixture of vintage horror, stag films, and anime. Later, they included clips from his films. He always put on a great show.

Rob and his then girlfriend, bassist Sean Yseult started the band. Rob later decided to call himself Rob Zombie, and he and Sean went their separate ways. Rob and Sherry have been together since. She is a talented actress and artist. They are both wonderful humans. Well educated, well spoken good people who make horror movies and videos. :)

Diane I researched the car here in this video. Car is Munsters' Koach created by custom car builder, George Barris. But there is another custom car for Munsters called Drag-U-la Coffin car. But either way, both cars were in the series and movies of the Munsters. Years later after this song, Rob Zombie remade Munsters movie in 2022, and movie is on Netflix.

Years ago, the show MTV Cribs filmed a segment in his house. In addition to his collection of horror films on video, he also bought the polar bear from the tv show "The Munsters" when they auctioned of the props from the show.

Rob Zombie was also the founder and frontman of White Zombie. White Zombie's final drummer went on to be Rob Zombie's drummer for like 8 years, so White Zombie and Rob Zombie kinda blur together. I have a VERY hard time keeping Rob Zombie and White Zombie songs apart in my head. Zombie and his ex-girlfriend were the only consistent members of White Zombie from founding to disbanding, so THEY were kinda "White Zombie". I guess without her it's just Rob Zombie His little brother, Spider One, is the founder/frontman for Powerman 5000 (he essentially IS Powerman 5000, since he's the only consistent member), which is similar in energy, but without the Gothic Horror theme. As you read, "Dragula" is the named of "Grandpa Munster"'s dragster car, the Dragula. Because "Grandpa Munster" himself isn't a Munster at all. He's not Herman Munster's father. He's Lilly Munster's father. Grandpa is actually literally Count Dracula. Hence the name of his car. Rob Zombie is obviously a HUGE Munsters fan. He went on to produce, write, and direct the 2022 Munsters movie. And his wife, Sheri Moon Zombie, starred in his Munsters movie as Lilly Munster.

Not quite the same sentiment, but that advice from Rob Zombie reminds me of something John Cleese once said about comedy. To paraphrase, Cleese said he used to be frequently asked whether the members of Monty Python were drunk or high all the time because of the absurd humor of their sketches; his response was No, because when you're stoned you think everything is funny, and that makes it impossible to write good comedy.

one of Zombie's first jobs was being a production assistant on the set of Pee-wee’s Playhouse in the mid ’80s, at the time that he was mostly a runner - “delivering stuff to and doing little crap work around the set … lowest rung on the ladder” - but as a Pee-wee Herman fan, it was “cool” to be on the set around Reubens and other comedians like Phil Hartman. Zombie offered an anecdote about his sole one-on-one interaction with Reubens: Back in 1986 I was lucky enough to be working at a place called Broadcast Arts in NYC. I can still remember his first day in the office. Everyone was waiting for Pee Wee to step off the elevator when the doors opened out stepped Paul looking exactly like his mugshot. He took one look at the live band playing ‘Tequila,’ rolled his eyes and walked straight into a meeting. Everyone was bummed. I thought it was hilarious. Only talked to him once. He asked me where the restroom was and I said ‘right over there.’

Thanks, Irish Girl! While I've heard this song many times, I never had seen the video. I liked that he incorporated driving the Munster Koach (not Gandpa's Drag-U-La) in the sequence. While not at all a fan of horror movies, I appreciate his use of classics in this production. I often find music videos to be somewhat distracting, it's obvious that this one was well done and perfectly fits the song. As for all you Patreon folks, I'd just like to add that I think you all are among the finest human beings on the planet!

Rob Zombie made a remake of John Carpenters Halloween. He Made Halloween 1 and 2. I like His movies their a different take on the series adding to the original. I also like the John Carpenter original Halloween series more though. The sound scores on the soundtrack on the originals that are timeless.

The bad thing about this song is that the hook is disarmingly catchy and it will pop into you head at the most unexpected moments. Did you react to Hanabie yet? “We Love Sweets” is a place to start if you haven’t - it’s equally creative and annoyingly catchy in a covert kinda of way.

what wasnt really mentioned in your deep dive is that Rob's Wife, Sheri Moon Zombie is in everything that he produces. his Music Videos have all starred her, as she has starred in all his Movies. whether that be his trilogy (House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects and 3 From Hell) his one-shot Movies, or his revisions of Halloween 1 and 2, where Rob shy's away from the supernatural aspect and goes for more psychological aspects. i personally dig his takes of Halloween 1 & 2, even if a lot of people did not.

His horror movie trilogy is worth checking out if you're into the gore heavy horror movie style from the 70s and 80s. I got a chance to see him perform at a local festival in 2017. They were very visual and put on a good set. His songs are definitely a mood. I usually revisit them around Halloween every year.
