Bts is way beyond pop they have all kinds of genre's like Hip-Hop, R&B, EDM, Latin pop, ballad, rock plus many more. Their are 7 members of bts and from south korean
Come on !! No that song!! They have masterpieces!!! BTS are one of a kind, no words!! They are for me at the top 5 of best performers live that ever exist,i am 47 listen to then sense 2018 my base is rock- metal- industrial and talented people in jeneral 👍👍🔥👍😜
I adore the way you described yourself as "uneducated" since it sounded so sincere. I'm hoping you'll respond to more BTS music. Around here, we need more trustworthy RU-vidrs. And don't worry, the BTS fans (ARMYs) is very interested in educating, instructing, and informing people. We adore it. We simply require individuals who are unafraid to listen to music in other languages and who are open-minded. Only three of BTS's 300+ songs are in English; the rest are in Korean. I hope you'll respond to their lyrics as well as their music.
If you like rap and hip hip BTS is the right place. They do hip hop, rap, latin, pop, edm, jazz, ballads.....you name it, they probably have a song like that. But funny enough - they still have their own sound and style. My recommendation if you like rap/ hip hop would be : AgustD: Daechwita, Haegum and Amygdala ( trilogy of 3 music videos ). Mic Drop, On the Street w. J.Cole., Do you by Rapmonster, RM and Wale in'Change' BTS : Persona, Shadow and Ego ( also a trilogy by each of the 3 rappers of the group where they have used the concept of Jungs theory of the self ).....and I could go on...I really love Ugh and Ddaeng - but their don't have a MV. Remember to put on captions! Enjoy and welcome to the World of BTS.
This IS an official video for "Butter", but it is a Special Performance Choreography video... there is an official MUSIC VIDEO for "Butter" that has over 900 Million views
Thanks for checking them out and we appreciate that you are open minded. Try them some more as they have so many different types of music. You'll need to put close captions.
Butter was my family’s entry into BTS 2 years ago. I now love rap music because of their rap line. But their music is so diverse. Songs to check out: Mic drop ON: KinEtic Manifesto film Fake Love Born Singer
Also, if you liked Butter, please consider watching the absolutely amazing live performance BTS did at the Grammys. They changed their performance substantially -- in spite of Jin having injured his hand (so they had to rearrange the choreography to cover what Jin would have done), Jungkook being quarantined for COVID upon arrival in the US , and J-Hope being quarantined for COVID in S. Korea and only getting to the US with one day to rehearse before the performance ... The BTS members are so talented and hard-working that they managed to overcome all that, learn the new choreography, and perform it live at a major awards show. These guys are no joke.
Check out Mic Drop by BTS ( the Steve Aoki remix ). Don’t let the language barrier stop you from listening to different music, music is music no matter what the language. You could be missing out on some great stuff.
They started in 2913 as a hip hop group and cover a wide variety of genres So… since you are into hip hop and rap I recommend you check out Hip hop lover live with eng subs Born singer live stage mix w subs Outro:tear live from wembley And these solo tracks Daechwita MV Joke MV with subs Chicken noodle soup MV w subs And see what you think Butter is one of three pandemic pop tracks all in English but they mostly sing in konglish (Korean and English ) And also Japanese.. and they rap in all 3 languages… Welcome to our rabbit hole…💜
Thanks for your reaction. BTS had its beginnings being more hip hop... over time it diversified handling genres such as: R&B, Pop, EDM, Rock, Jazz There are a rap sub unit within the group and a vocal sub unit where the rappers have few songs by themselves and the same with vocal line... But most of their songs as a complete group combines rap and vocals. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalist from Korea Let me give you some suggestions where you can begin to listen more of BTS music if you like. Please turn on the subtitles for official MV... They usually have very good lyrics although you can find just fun and catchy songs as well in their discography Rap line as sub unit (in case you are a rap fan): • Outro: Tear - Live at Wembley ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UDuaJGYe8EQ.html • Cypher pt3: Killer - Busan Concert 2022 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KdMSniLFUqQ.html • UGH - from Map of the Soul ON: E Concert - Live ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6XfEDepFpAU.html • UGH explained by a Korean ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cq3nGiu0_gI.html • Ddaeng Live ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Jsfi1PUEQWA.html • Ddaeng explained by a Korean ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fdJl1SL03Ac.html I recommend reviewing the explanatory videos of the songs in the rap line as there are cultural references that are lost in translation and that Western fans cannot fully understand From BTS as group: • Yet to come Live - Proof Live ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RS2zY3VedHc.html • Born Singer - Live (is an adapted song by BTS of J. BTS is a South Korean group of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists that debuted in 2013. The song you just listened to is one of 3 English singles they released during the pandemic to spread positive energy. The other 2 are Dynamite and Permission to Dance. I would recommended that you check out: Mic Drop On:Kinetic Manifesto Film Black Swan But make sure you turn on the CCs because those songs are in Korean. If you want to know more about them, I would recommend checking out Bangtan 7: A Guide to BTS Members by Taylor Mari. Also, BTS fans are called ARMY.
Also if you watch the guide by taylor mari do it as a reaction. Its a 47 min video but it is in English. And as long as your a genuine reactor Army will watch. Long videos of BTS. It could be 2 hours as long as the reactor actually reacts and has good commentary and questions etc . Look forward to seeing the guide with ya
Watch the Taylor guide the Bantang 7 ….this alone will make you want to know more about them …it will blow your mind….and then the music will blow your mind! It’s a story you haven’t heard before
71 year old BTS Army here. I wish you had watched the Official MV. It's a lot more fun than this one. This song is their 2nd Grammy nomination. They now have 5. Two are with Coldplay. They have over 700 awards globally, 11 American Music Awards, including Artist of the Year, and a record setting 12 Billboard Music Awards. They are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists from S.Korea and have the largest fandom in the world known as Army. For your next listen, I suggest "Mic Drop - Steve Aoki Remix" and make sure it is the Big Hit Music Official MV. Please use English CC because they normally use a mix of English and Korean. Thank you for this nice reaction!!! 💜
BTW, Suga's rapping was not "American" born as you said he sounded, far from it. His talent rose up in the South Korean underground rap scene from the age of 13 years old. He is pure S.K.😎 He was originally signed on at Big Hit as a producer (prolific music composer/song writer) but became a BTS member bc of his amazing rapping skills. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Have a look at him in this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qGjAWJ2zWWI.html
They started out in 2013 as a hip hop group but then expanded into lots of different genres. The 3 rappers have put out a lot of music together and individually. Turn on closed captions for the English lyrics. Check out the Cypher series in live performances. The performance that made me and many others a fan is this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8cUQ3lF3_O8.html
Tq for the reaction👍☺. The one you're seeing is the dance practice video. Official mv is different but no problem as it is as good as the mv😊. For this song alone there's various videos. There's official mv, dance practice, live performance and behind the scene. They performed this song at the Grammys last year and there's behind the scene for their preparation. It was iconic because 2 members were diagnosed with covid in the midst of their preparation and 1 member injured his hand. They only have limited time to practice with all the members yet they managed to get standing ovation for the performance. I prefer their Korean songs over English. They usually have deep lyrics. If you're interested in how vast their discography is, there's a videoessay; an introduction to bts discography by boracity magazine. It listed out all their songs even before their debut in 2013. You can watch on your own since it's a long video. Good luck! 👍☺
thanks for checking bts. this is butter practice dance video.. BTS is a group consisting of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists from South Korea. they not only make songs in korean, but also in japanese and english. Butter is one of 3 English songs released during the pandemic with the aim of making listeners feel happy even though there is a Covid pandemic. if you like hip hop, you can try to see "mic drop" or "not today"..
If you like rap, try "Outro Tear" the live performance. I'm a 66 yr old grandmother and I adore these young men. I never liked rap music, but then I heard their rap music and lyrics. You have to read the lyrics. They are relevant to everyone. If you want to get to know them, watch " A Guide to BTS: The Bangtan Seven" by Taylor Mari. It's the best guide for newbies. BTS fandom is called ARMY. We will help you along the way, just ask. Borahae. 💜💜💜
MIC DROP is probably a safe option. Or you can go straight to the CYPHERS 1, 2, 3, 4,...BTS is 3 Rappers 4 star vocalists. Though they all can do it all. Their dancing tight, their stages show's spectacular, their love for their fans ARMY and the access they give ARMY to their non performance life unprecedented. I generally subscribe after you watch TAYLORS GUIDE TO THE BANGTAN 7. ..as it gives us a good idea which of the many BTS rabbit holes to send you down. I think like me you are going to love their RAP line. The best way is to watch the performance then an explaination video, or visa versa. This is better than translations because they do not explain cultural references or puns. For instance in DDAENG daeng has 7 different meanings depending how its used in the rap. As for Daechwita by Agust D,(Suga) you might be highly entertained but you don't stand a chance of following the lyrics without pausing when he raps really fast. Often the explaination videos( for example DOOLSET, or another RICE SQUAD) are fun in themselves. The the cinematic quality MV are often highly entertaining and artistic. anyway BTS is high quality entertainment with something for everybody.
Before even watching your first reaction to BTS, a lot of reactors start with Butter or a full English song. This is not a typical BTS song and hopefully I’ll hear what type of music you enjoy listening to so can recommend. BTS has so many genres throughout their career. Thanks for giving them a chance! Hope you check out some of the songs I see recommended! 💜Subscribed hoping to see more!
Thanks to tried BTS (sorry I’m french, my english is not perfect! Like Suga, as you said 😂) to begin, it’s better to listen songs from them like Run BTS, Mic drop, ON or Fire. After, you’ll appreciate ALL their songs 😅 Welcome in our incredible purple world, and enjoy 😊💜
I only discovered BTS a few months ago after thinking for years they weren't going to be for me but these guys are next level they do it all and they do every genre just pure talent. Here are some more hip hop suggestions by them I think you should check out Persona Ugh Ddaeng Ego Outro:tear The cyphers Mic drop Run BTS dance practice Daechwita - Agust D Haegum - Agust D Agust D - Agust D More - J Hope Arson - J Hope Still life - RM
Bts are ao versatile and diverse its incredibly amazing. Also their fans called Army their ages and genders have bo limits at all im 32 and been army since their pre debut days in 2013. They have been together for 10 years and counting.
hello! It would be interesting for you to watch the video, A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7, which focuses on each one individually and will give you an idea of exactly who they are, and the time of work and talent of these guys, which June 13th made 10 years since they debuted, the group is composed of 3 rappers and 4 vocal line and yes they have many dancing performances, and you will see that initially they were cut from the programs because they belonged to a small company, so they created content on youtube to approach the fans what makes them stand out, because they really show themselves as they are, it's worth taking a closer look, vc só precisa se abrir para o novo deixando todos os seus conceitos de lado , conheço o BTS a 1 ano e meio e tenho 58 anos , e já sou uma ARMY
Hi! Thank you for checking out Bts 💜 a good way to know more about them is to check Taylor Maris introduction to Bts members. It a longer video, but we army love to see it allways 🥰 greetings from Finland!
I say, what all the other comments here already said. Just one: This was not the official Music Video for Butter, just a Dance Practice. But thats still good :) Thanks for watching
BTS is from South Korea. They have 3 rappers and 4 vocalist and do everything from hip-hop to ballads to pop and edm. This is one of only 3 songs fully in English. They usually have a mix of Korean and English in their songs. If you do check out more, I recommend using the CC for the english subtitles. They are even better live than in the music videos. They also have solo work outside of BTS you will want to check out. I recommend mic drop or Blackswan for a group mv. I recommend some solo songs like Wildflower by RM or Heageum by Agust D and like crazy by Jimin.
Each member also has solo songs and are currently releasing their own projects. They each have to do mandatory military service and all members will be gone for 18 months by the end of this year. 2 are already serving and Suga will leave in September.
💜🇧🇷💜BTS💜ARMY💜 from Brazil. Love their songs. Thanks from giving them a chance and hope you enjoy and find more about their music and their personalities and solo music as well. Thanks for your reaction 🙏💜good luck with your channel.
Great reaction and i can see from all the comments you have plenty of suggestions to get you started. Hope you stay with us in this rabbit hole. I look forward to more BTS reactions 💜
Check the Rap line... BTS Cyphers 1, 2, 3, & 4 RM - Joke, Do You, Persona, Seoul, Trivia: Love, Closer Suga (Agust D) - Daechwita, Seesaw (live performance), Moonlight J Hope - Day Dream, Airplane, Chicken Noodle Soup, Outro: Ego, More BTS songs that have an r&b vibe... Jimin - Serendipity, Filter (live performance) V - Singularity Jungkook - Euphoria, My Time, Still With You BTS - Black Swan, Home (Jimmy Fallon performance), Make It Right feat Lauv
Welcome to BTS reactions, Kaco! I'm sure others have filled you in on their background. If you like hip-hop and rap, BTS has a lot to offer you. Highly recommend Cyphers Pt. 1, 2, 3, and 4 and Ddang (you would be well advised to watch an explanation video for Ddang because the word has 7 meanings in Korean -- and RM uses all 7 in one single verse). They also have an old (2014) song Hip Hop Lover. The 3 rappers have done a bunch of solo rap songs over the years. RM's Do You from 2015 is a favorite of mine. Also SUGA/Agust D's trilogy: Daechwita, Amygdala, and Haegeum (please pay attention to the facial scar; it's key). J-Hope's solo MVs More and Arson are amazing. If you are ok with other musical genres and like truly amazing lyrics, please consider Not Today, Baepsae, Fake Love, Spring Day, Black Swan, ON ... I mean, do you know any other artist who creates two concept albums based on Carl Jung's psychological concepts of Persona, Ego and Shadow (Map of the Soul: Persona and Map of the Soul: 7)? So much to choose from!!!
the have sold out Stadium all over the world, in 40 min, the wold out Wembleys 2019 2 days in a row. Bts have sat so many records, the have performed in all show in America and the world, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel ,Ellen, The Voice, America Got Talent, New Year Eve, Grammy, James Corden, Ama, Billboard, fans come from all over the world to one concert, if the dont play ar there country.
Definitely react to FESTA 2021 BTS ROOM LIVE. It’s a medley of their songs which shows how versatile they are! I fell in love with the rap line so if you love rap / hip hop I recommend checking their rap line songs too.. here’s a few to start off with Cyphers 1-4 UGH Outro: Tear
Butter is not typical BTS... According to Suga himself, the most representative of their songs are: mic drop and we are bulletproof pt 2. If I were you, I would start there. We are bulletproof pt 2 is their second single in 2013, they were really young back there. According to us, ARMY, in order to get a nice spectrum of what they can do, the list is long, but ... Let me give you at least 5 tracks: Ugh Airplane pt 2 Telepathy Idol House of cards BTS: music is great, lyrics are great, but their personalities are the best. If you manage to watch any of their variety shows, the best one is Run BTS... Maybe you will understand better why so many people love these guys. Have fun!
If you like Hip hop and rap you will love a lot of BTS music. That was an English speaking track, but a lot of their music isn't. But because the music is so good people all over the world follow them, and of course there is usually captions in english to read. You should watch Mic Drop Steve Aoki remix, or Hip Hop Phile, and On Kinetic Manifesto. The group has 3 rappers and 4 vocalists and have produced music in multiple genres. The have also produced a lot of solo work over the years you might watch Hope on the Street by J hope, one of the rappers, collaborating with J Cole. Or Agust D, another of the rappers, work called Daechwita. Good luck, you wont be disappointed.
Please watch the guide to the bangtan 7 by Taylor Mari. But watch it as a reaction so Armys can keep. You company. Don’t worry about the length of the video Armys will watch as long as your genuine and open minded and actual have commentary lol. Look forward to seeing it with ya. Although I’ve seen it over 100 times lol. Im obsessed
I don't know if anyone told but when they started, they didn't even know any English except for RM, the leader. So when this song came out, they were learning English. They are still learning English. So they do very well singing in English when they native language is Korean / Japanese.
BTS's English songs all rank bottom for me, too pop-y and commerical. I much prefer their Korean songs that they had a lot of artistic input in the songwriting or production. But some people really like their English songs and it's what got them hooked into BTS, so I appreciate those songs for that lol.
There are 7 members and all are from South Korea. They have albums in Korean with English mixed in and Japanese also. Most of there songs have a deeper meaning. Go to the settings button and put subtitles on English. Also there are a couple of videos that tell about each member.
Hi! Thank you for reacting to BTS! They are a very diverse group when it comes to music: not only do they experiment with different instruments and music genres but also with languages (they mostly sing in Korean but they have some albums in Japanese and a few singles in English). Right now they are on "Chapter 2" of their career where they explore music individually with the plan to reunite in 2025 after all members finish their obligatory enlistment. I highly recommend checking songs they release as a group as well as as solo artists. If I had to give you a tip how to discover BTS I would say: listen to whole albums because they have very cohesive storytelling and go through many music genres. I think one album I would recommend checking first as an introduction to BTS would be "Love Yourself: Answer" - with lyrics and watching live performances from concert (whole or individual songs, most are available on YT). Their individual releases are so diverse, I bet you would find something up to your taste. Oh, and if you get into it, there are a few shows made by BTS which are fun and could give you insight into who they are as people (they are definitely worth getting to know!). Hope I will see you with more reactions to BTS in the future!
You like rap well wait till you hear their rapping. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalist. They are from south Korea. They do many different genres of music. The more you listen to them the more your going to like them. You will find out why they are the number one signing group in the world.
Gotta hear some of their rap. Here's their song 'Ugh' with subtitles. There's no official MV, so this is from their last concert ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wUd7WkO5tdo.html You'll need to increase video quality if you use it for a reaction. Otherwise, it's meh quality. 🙂
@rjbirmingham I was just listening to 'We On' again, and I think that's another great 'new reactor to BTS' song with the whole group. With Tear, it just hits different when a reactor is a little more familiar with BTS and knows that the song was about their possible disbanding. It's one of my favorite songs.
oh man! welcome to the rabbit hole. You will love BTS. I suggest you do Taylor's Guide to BTS right away. They have over 300 songs, you'll find some awesome rap in there. They are from Korea, and have only 3 songs in english.
Thank You for reacting! I’m 40 and a huge music junkie and boy band lover! I thought I had seen it all when it came to boy bands, but boy was I wrong! I was blown away when I decided to check out the members of BTS back in 2021! I’m now Army!! I look forward to seeing your reactions to BTS. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how well rounded they are musically, and how down to earth and humble they are you have much to check out and I’m here to join you on this journey.!!
Bts is the biggest group in the world, the have 6 nr 1 songs at Billboard 100 and 6 nr 1 Albums at Billboard 200 and 12 Billboard awards, 2 off the members solo songs also went in to Billboard 100. Bts do all kind off genres, the write and produced there songs, Bts company was small whid no money in 2013, and the only had Bts and a solo singer. and Bts have take this small company to the biggest company i Korea now, the bring in 4 bilj dollars to Korea in a year
Your honest reaction is so sweet. I appreciate that you didn’t make any assumptions. I respect you so much more for just being honest and saying you’re uneducated on BTS. You should dive in. You won’t be disappointed and if this impressed you, their earlier, homegrown stuff will knock your socks off. You said this is refreshing. Well so is your reaction 💜
