First of all, the pide, lahmacun and soup looked really authentic. Kudos to the chef. Your pronunciation was also on point. On the other hand, the salad was necessary for lahmacun. You put some salad or at least some thinly chopped onions in the middle, a squeeze of lemon and do a lahmacun wrap. Try it like that the next time ;)
in the netherlands the way they serve the turkish pizza is rolled up like a durum with some salad in it or shoarma meat. or plain like you just had it. we eat it on the go alot. you have some options. you can also choose to put some cheese on it. very cheap and very filling. Usually we add garlic sauce and hot sauce on it.
That Turkish pizza ( Lamachun ) is a bit thinner then they sell here in The Netherlands, but its sooooo good.... in my opinion a bit plain without anything added so my lahmacun usually has Lamb Döner on it ( can also chose chicken or pork shoarma ), with iceberg lettuce ( yes i know you dont like but i do so i pick it 😜 ) very thin sliced red/white cabbage, tomato, union ( raw but very thin sliced ), garlic sauce and red ( spicy sambal sauce ), you can also have cheese added to that like Gouda or feta ( but im not a cheese fan ). They put the food from top to bottom add the sauce and roll it up, thinking about it just makes me hungry and it's sooooo damn good ( sorry for cursing ).
