Welcome back to the channel! Today we hit the water in Montreal to do some fishing for the first time in 2024 and we caught quite a few fish in only a couple of hours including a protected fish species!

Great video my son and I have been recently getting more serious about fishing we normally do it near Ile bizard where you guys filmed one of your videos but we always seem to get tangled whether it’s in rocks or in weeds any tips? We use a Carolina rig with a ounce and half weight and about 50 cm leader thank you very much. My son loves you guys!

Hey, glad you guys enjoy our videos and tell your son we say hi. We recommend using .5 to 1oz weight. We also like to put the weight on the bottom instead of on top so if ever it gets stuck the weight brakes off and you don't loose all your setup. We like to tie the two hooks above the weights directly to the line.(check out our next video we show our setup) Hope this helps and Goodluck on your next fishing adventure!
