Dustin defying the laws of gravity effortlessly. I watch the guys in the surf here using foils without powerboats or e force. It still blows my old surfers mind.😊🇦🇺🤙
Ohhh how cool, you guys had so much fun, I can imagine it in the summer time, by then you both will be a pros at it. Great to meet Austin 👋🏾. See yaaa next week
😂❤I absolutely loved every bit of this video! How incredibly fun😊 Laughing and smiling along with you all! I am looking forward to seeing you enjoying your life this summer!😊
Wow, that looks like so much fun! Brandon was like a little kid out there, laughing and giggling! You were looking good out there, as well! Y’all will be pros in no time. Glad y’all made a new friend. He seems like a good one! I like y’all’s work ethic…gotta work hard to play hard! Hope you have a fabulous weekend. Take care and we’ll see ya next week!
Amazing video! I never leave any camera equipment dangling after losing a new high end phone in a river kayaking. Everything I carry in a boat or kayak is attached to me or the kayak now with a neck or wrist strap. I was an amateur star 55 years ago on every kind of ski from a clown act on two skis with them out of the water surfing on my butt, down to a two foot long single ski. My wife and I would share two skis while kissing for pictures, but it has changed so much. The hardware has changed, but no way to know if the skill level has changed that much.
Wow! Too bad foiling wasn't a thing when I was young enough to do it. Ya'll will be pro foilers in no time at'all. When I was your age, we skied all over the lake, did wave boarding, and tubing. But foiling? Man, that looks like SO much fun. Sigh! Brandon is one of those dudes you just can't help but like. LOL! I loved this video Sarah. SO MUCH FUN!
We’re slowly getting the hang of it, right now it’s kinda hard and we wipe out a lot as you can see hahah but once we’re like Dustin, it’s gonna be the most fun thing evaaa!!! ❤️
Every time you post is such a delight. And showing us how hydrofoiling/foil surfing works - phenomenal! What a wonderful addition Dustin is to your circle. ENJOY!!!!!
Friggin Brandon 😂 his type of humor is sooooo much like mine and his attitude is spot on 😂 this specific water sport looks fun however I'm like a ol rock .... I'd need to be wrapped in floaties so perhaps I'd be happy with watching and designated driver for y'all's enjoyments 😊
$15k would be the super high end of the electric ones that you don’t need a boat to use! Personally we’d never pay that for one of those, you could buy a whole other boat (or a couple) AND another non-electric foil with that! 😂 got this board for wayyyy under a grand, thanks to Dustin’s resources as a hyperlite rep. 🙏 it’s so fun!
I watch a channel called Celebrating Appalachia, it's one of my favourites here on RU-vid. Anyhoo, Tipper (its her channel) was just out at Fontana a couple weeks ago! When I heard her mention it, I immediately thought, "oh! My friends Brandon and Sarah live on Fontana!" lol What a great weekend for y'all! Love from the North Coast of Oregon 🌊💙
That foiling board looks so hard! I will crack my head open like a Humpty Dumpty egg! What do you rate 1 to 10 (hardest) on the first try? How many times did you fall before you manage the board? Which one do you like? Wakeboard or foiling board? What year is that boat? I love the old boat than the new boat. Love that style of the big windshield with the door in the middle. Love that!
The boat’s a ‘96! Foiling is wayyy harder so right now surfing is more fun, but I think once we get the hang of it we will probably end up enjoying foiling more! 🙌
Sarah is a fearless young woman !!! Fantabulous indeed ! Job is well done : Brandon is a lucky guy, I bet he deserves it ! Guys like you reconcile me with humanity ! you are really nice people 😉
wow you guys so young and with knee and my hips I can never do that but you have fun and ya that is a lot to be said about a old leather couch with zero to 60 sleep capability I know because I have and I love it and it great place to sleep lol
It is so fun to watch y’all having fun. As I sat in my comfy chair and watched Brandon learning to foil, I found myself leaning left then right, trying to keep him balanced on that board! Haha. Have a great week, hope Jericho comes through for y’all soon!
I don't know if this w9ould snag a tripod but it might. Take a metal fish stringer and open all the hooks except where it attaches to the bank. Tie a strong cord to that hook, toss it in a few times where you dropped the object and usually it will snag stuff. I use one on my boat and dock.
you should put one of those surf board tethers on your tripods when working with it on the water that way you wont lose it in the lake with or without a camera.
With all my back injuries and surgeries... I decided to try an Air Chair once, due to it being "low impact"... the Air Chair remains undefeated! Brian 0 Air Chair 1🏆
Thanks Sarah. Just gave you the 250th thumbs up. Looks like everyone had fun, even Brandon when he was falling. Keep up the amazing KeepingAfloat videos coming. They're wonderful.
We’re so glad that you hard working kids could take some time and have some fun! You guys were doing great learning how to foil! Won’t be long and you’ll give the pro a run for his money! Really fun video guys! And nice job detailing that boat! Looked great! Have a great week! T&C!
Looks fun, cool that you can do it behind any boat. I tried wake surfing for the first time last summer and absolutely loved it. I'm not sure foils are legal in our lakes in CA. We have a lot of rules. I'll have to check into it. Love your videos.
If wake surfing is legal there I couldn’t imagine foiling isn’t, since wake surfing requires a boat that can make such a damaging wave to the shoreline & foiling doesn’t! Fingers crossed it is, if so, you should totally try it! 😍
Days like this are such a blessing. It is good to see you both out there having a little fun, interspersed in all your hard work. I wonder what goes through Iko's mind when she sees you guys foil surfing?
@@KeepingAfloatWiththeJoneses yes, skiing is a dying form😢 But, I'm a GenX'er... Learned on a 1971 Fish & Ski Tri-Hull with a Johnson 75hp outboard🤣 We was scootin'!
I was laughing right along with y’all. That boat looked great! Can hardly wait to see the finished Blue Bungalow. Watching you guys living your best life on the lake is so much fun.
that is super scary! I was cutting down a tree one time and the chainsaw slipped and hit my leg, would have cut through the femoral artery most likely if I hadn’t been wearing chaps! the chaps stopped the saw from continuing to cut in a millisecond, it was amazing. this all to say, chainsaw accidents can happen to anybody and can be easily fatal, so glad he is ok all things considered! 🙏
Well he’s still in there and they are trying all they can throw at him to get it under control , first hospital jacked up the original stitching and didn’t even given antibiotics, so day 7 and we have been to another hospital twice trying to tackle a bad infection. Thanks yaw for the prayers ! 🫶🏻❤️
why would you sail around world trust me you don't want to do with all bull going on across the pond now they are still war monger bull and people don't have the same rights we do here so I can see sailing around close and maybe going to England but ya it is mess now I always want to go to to place over sea but not now
unless you HAVE sailed around the world we ain’t just gonna blindly trust your word on that one 😆 gonna go experience it for ourselves, will report back here what we find!! 🤝
