Nope, the brush is amazing. It doesn't pull much hair at all for me. I'm 3b/3c hair type likewise and it works well especially at the ends. If you use hair defining hair products along with it, even amazing how it works.

Girl the GROWTH! It’s so interesting how some hair flourishes curly and some like mine would destroy it. But as for hair oiling, I swear by it 💯. Am I the only one who wants to see Kelsey’s hip length hair straightened just once?

I have that brush and have used it twice, its good but I only use the curl divider side because the bristle beads get stuck in my hair 😫 So I just use my regular detangling brush, then I use the divider side… but now and then it would still get caught in my strands. Wish they would make one with the tangle teezer bristles + the dividers. But that brush is supposed to shingle your hair, so you would have to start at the roots if you want the shingle effect. If you don’t want your roots to get puffy, just used a strong hold custard instead of a gel and make thinner sections, works wonder for me and we have similar hair type

Even when I use a custard and use any of my brushes from the root it still doesn’t work well for me☹️

@@glamtwinz 😩 I used to have that problem. What helped me was saturating with product and making thinner sections, but then again.. I switched to shingling with my hands. It gives me the best results, but its sooo time consuming. Love your videos! Keep up the hair content cause I’m obsessed 😂

I’ve been learning more that you should not let your hair dry because that will here to be present. Maybe if you try the brush and then use diffuser dryer or sit under the dryer you might get a different result.

The reason your hair grows faster when it’s curly is do to all the moisture that’s being put on the hair. Water, sprays , leave in , refreshing , gels, creams etc etc ….

I like it better for wet styling but I had no trouble with it dry. A great conditioner helps no matter what brush you use.

I'm in love with the unbrush personally! Detangling and styling with it is a breeze for me and my mom, she loves it too! Wash days have been cut in half immensely for me and blow drying with it is where it's at too! I think it works best in sections and not go all the way through the first pass... work your way further in the sections with each pass. Hope this helps if you decide to get it. Best brush I've ever had imo and it's really easy to clean and lightweight. ❤🙏🏾

Something tells me maybe you should do larger sections - even though 3c/4a were told to use small sections. I wonder why the hair gets frizzy when you start brushing from the root. It happens to me too and I thought my hair was damaged as these brushes seem to work for everyone except me. Middle down is fine though, like you said.
