Been listening to dude for 30 years and to see a new generation be in awe like I was is so damn cool fr,.. love it.. idgaf who says what em is tough nas is tough big is tough but ask the goats who’s the goat and they are gonna say pac.... Period
its so nice to c u discover pac like that. i was 12 years old when i met him in the netherlands on a public enemy tour 1990. from that day till now he inspired me trough every fase of my life. i would love it if u react to "pain" from the above the rim soundtrack. every time i doubted myself in life, this song pumped me up and give me the courage to succeed. keep the pac reactions coming, greetings from the Netherlands
Did a speech on this song in school. Had the class crack up, till i broke it down. sad.. still remember the teacher dropping the news paper on our desks.. remember it like 9-11 remember it like the day my daughter was born.. there's moments in our life's that last forever
Hearing this song when it was first released in 1996, it was the first time I heard anyone reference their gun as being their girl. A lot of people copy or reference this track, this is the OG
Yeah man whole songs a double entendre back when those still existed. One of my top five favorite PAC songs of all time. Is one of the songs that you never forget a single word of it's like scripture
What do you mean "back when those still existed" ? clearly you havnt heard "25 to life" or "Darkness" by Eminem ; the last one is even a Tripple ; there's still songs like this out there ; you just gotta go look for them ;)
Ngl i thought that too. A friend of mine told me about it and almost went straight home ot listen to it and it was like i heard it for the last first time again... Lol.
I was barely in high school when Tupac passed away, that was a huge loss to the music community. I was a big fan of Tupac and biggie who unfortunately was killed the very next year. Tupac was so real, so raw, a true artist. I still have all his songs memorized decades later.
I ran across your page randomly while looking for the hit em up video to show my daughter what a real diss song sounds like. I'm loving watching the reaction from a youngsta who's just discovering why my generation loves Pac so much. 😂
That's why one of the reasons why I like breaking down lyrics, besides just that the song is good. Some songs take a few listens before you catch a double or triple untaundro, a few songs I knew from back in the days and just catch a line or a word after all these years
@@OfficialLifeWithRecklezz I have original studio rush of his songs, I mean not mixed the raw studio recording without effects. '' The demo songs '' and I always prefer them than the songs on his albums. The original ones are crrrrrrrrazy. You got to be a huuuuge pac fan since 20 years to have this kind of original songs. Because a lot of them on RU-vid are just remix but like I said I got the OG studio demo ones. Btw I'm composer music producer irl. Troublesome 96 that you react to is remixed album song, the real one is 100 times better put troublesome 96 OG on RU-vid the picture with guns listen that man this is different this is the first version!
@@OfficialLifeWithRecklezz the best of them is "Runnin from the police OG" 2pac feat. Notorious BIG. A lot of people's know this song as "Runnin" but this is a remix song made years after pac died. The real one is rare and called Runnin from the police* this song is just wowwww.... Listen it man, you have to listen this! This is the one.
@@OfficialLifeWithRecklezz I'm glad that you understand that he was talking about his gun on me and my girlfriend. A lot of peoples didn't catch it. Bravo 🙂
Much respect that you caught this, some people hear but don’t listen. I remember buying this cd. He was genius. Listen only god can judge me another great song
I bought this album when it first came out, i was 16, and me and my niggaz got together, rolled up, and played it straight thru debating on whether he was still alive, or not. #2pacthegoat
This is one of my favorite Pac songs. For me it’s not just the fact he talks of a gun but it’s how he symbolizes his gun like a woman. In the 90’s everyone had a gun and people cherished their weapons even in the military soldiers compare their weapons to their girlfriends. His ability to talk about all the aspects of carrying, using, and just owning a gun is masterful. This should have been another #1 hit if the album had been marketed properly. Sorry Jay Z, anyone can do the obvious and talk about their woman, not sure why you got permission to remake a song that was already flawless in execution!
Tupac my fav rapper and I’ve listened to this song hella times and it wasn’t until you said he was talking about a gun for me to realize that this nigga was really talking about a gun 🤯 lmaooo I’m slow af😂
Niggas was jealous of pac and still jealous of pac ! If they actually listen to pac music they would know pac is a all around mc meaning he makes different types of music for every category! Pac was that dude man ! Pac was a lyricist
Pac heard "I gave you Power" by Nas and loved it so much it inspired him to write this song. Give it a listen, Nas is another legend. ...and Jay-Z's version is trash 🤣
I knew you like this. This is a dope song.. I didn't even know hw was talking about his gun the first 20 times i heard the song until a friend of mine told me. Was like i heard the song again for the first time after hearing that.. There is alot of dope shit left to look forward to.. This man can write and rap.. A shame he died so soon..
Great reaction as always love your mindset u picked up the gun relation to this track quickly and many dont also im an old head not computer savvy dont know how to post links so when I give u a song to react if u put it in the way I write it to u then u will have the right version so react to Tupac GHETTO STAR STRAIGHT BALLING AMBITIONZ AS A RIDAH HOLLA AT ME NO MORE PAIN
Respect to this reaction. I've seen reactions where the person had no idea. They found out after the video was posted and they found out from the comments section. For real.
Idk if anybody said it yet but this song was inspired by Nas' "i gave you power". On that song, Nas raps from the point of view of a gun. Pac and Nas had a little beef in 96 but squashed it at bryant park in NY. On the plane ride home Pac listened to Nas' album "it was written". I gave you power was on that album and inspired this song. Also this song was sampled later on by Jay-z where he talks about his actual gf beyonce lol
You don't know what you're talking about. This song was recorded during the Killuminati sessions which was before they squashed anything. 2Pac was dissing Nas by name during the time he made this song. He even recorded the original version of Street Fame where he disses Nas by name in the same session as this track. They squashed their problems after this song was made. This is actually a diss to Nas. He didn't do it as some shout out. Jay Z version is trash.
Pac took the idea from a good Nas song and flipped it.. And made a better one in my opinion. - No doubt a controversial opinion considering how well respected the Illmatic album is. And then Jay Z took Pac's song copied and changed it for a chart hit.. A very worse one lol
@@helenHTID I agree I listened to Nas song I gave you power and in no way is it even coming close to being better than Pac`s song..........no fucking way. Nas song is ok but that`s about it.
I remember when this album dropped on Halloween 1996 after 2Pac had already passed . He never saw the release of this album just like B.I.G never saw the release of his last album . Crazy how they both were murdered the exact same way 2 weeks before there projects were set to be released . 🤔 Hmmmmm !!!!
You need to react to Tupac and biggie rare freestyle in concert it's just Tupac and biggie wrapping live it is the best freestyle I have ever heard in my life these two tear up the entire show and stage
Yes thank you for reaching the conclusion of what many people know not think but no I think when it comes to freestyling biggie was way better but when it comes to a storytelling Mastermind lyricist there is nobody and will ever be anybody in the future better than this guy I grew up as a teenager in the early part of the 90s and I was obsessed with this guy so I went and learned everything I could about him while he was still alive so it's not like he died and then I liked him but there are so many songs that you haven't heard yet that are way better than anything you have ever heard
Appreciate the reactions mane. Try doing a reaction to “No More Pain” (All Eyez On Me) or Who Do U Believe In” by Tupac. You won’t be disappointed bruh!💯🏁🏁 Keep doing your thang tho big dawg!
