This was on the original release of Makaveli (the Three Day Theory album, which was created before they released the 7 Day Theory, that’s the one that has the Piggy and Dr. Dre artwork on it). It’s why this song has always been high quality along with Watch Ya Mouth, which was another that was on the original 3 Day Theory album. They were both album release ready. Pac pulled this song because he and Nas squashed their beef in New York. He did leave Against All Odds on the album, which he disses Nas on, but he let Nas know about the song and told him to not worry about it.

Great Reaction Homie, Fun Fact : the song sample the classic Sting song "Fragile" and Pac took the concept as well and flip it. Sting concept was about anti - gun violence, Pac took the concept went in depth with the gun violence and mayham in the hood. In which he pose a question "do you still want to be a thug ?" Saying its not worth it. I suggest you check out Sting song and you can see the connection. Sting open line to his song is "if blood will flow when steel and flesh are one". PAC in his 1st verse said " why i had to live my life with pistol close at hand" its the means the same thing to Sting had said.
