I've never seen anyone reacting so emotional on these two ABBA songs but when you think of your grandmother at the same time it's very understandable of course. When I saw and heard Chiquitita at their VOYAGE concert last year in London I started bawling. I cried four times that night but this song made me the most emotional. Great reaction.

In concert the back drop curtain is raised snd they introduce the orchestra.during the concert we onlynsee the 4 of them. it doesn't occur to us that theres other music.they really absolutely fantastic to see.raised st the end of the concert and its like oh yes i think about because we were so focused on those 4.what we heard on our records and cassettes is exactly what we heard in concert.cds now days eh.

Well i discovered this video while i was youtube-roaming and i must say that these two ABBA songs are very beautiful.

I am - alas - old enough to remember ABBA in their hayday. They were extemely popular - mainly on the grounds of being utterly brilliant at what they did, and do. `One of the most successful bands there`s ever been in the world, of course. I only wish they `d been English. lol ! Even 42 years later I could listen to this band all day long.

i had a somehow spiritual experience with chiquitita. my father went to the cinema to watch the first mamma mia movie and it was my first pop band i loved as a kid. as i lost my dad it became a core memory. I once listened to old tapes he recorded as a kid with the old cassette recorders. you heard my dad as a boy with his mom fooling around. the rest of the tape was empty i thought. yet suddenly the song came on, the cassette broke and i cried like a baby. it was like him talking to me and wanting only me to listen to this tape.
