There is a storyline behind their concept and main songs. More like a completely new universe. On their official YT channel is a 'movie' about it - so far there are 3 episodes of it (I think, each around 15 min long). Maybe you can do a reaction to it, too, if you are interested in this group and their futuristic over top concept. Lyrics for their main songs (Black Mamba, Next Level, Savage, Girls) make much more sense if you know the story and watch the show. Their other songs are mostly out of the storyline, good vocals, and rap, some of them are extra pop, and some keep that bold futuristic vibe.
I consider that all groups are very talented and also prepare as trainee's for years to be chosen as solo idols or form a group, so the girls or boys who debut are prepared for it, more than anything if they like a group or not is for the style of music that they like the most, but not because of work or talent. Might subscribe if y'all plan to react to more Aespa. The group is a bit futuristic with a slightly over the top concept. But they do it really well. And somehow, they can make the weirdest sound and beat sound cool af. It quite a journey to follow them. But a fun one. So I am pretty excited to see your reaction to them.
Aespa’s sound is known for alternating between beats and rhythms in one song so you might hear a few of their hits where it feels like it’s a bunch of different songs in one😭😭 just to let out the confusion
