She is going to be thee most brilliant Opera singer ever , she was 9 yrs old🙏🙏

She is one of the finest vocal artists of today. She is about 17 yo today. She is fluent in 3 languages: Dutch, English, and Afrikaans. She sings in 7 or 8 languages....A few months after this performance she performed with Andre Reiu and his orchestra and sang O Mio Babbino Caro ....It was put on his album of greatest hits. One of her latest performances available online is Caruso. Her performances of Gabriellas Song, Nella Fantasia, and Amazing Grace have received wide acclaim. She has sung with many well known performers including Paul Potts and Corlea Botha. Her duet with Botha, the Flower Song, was as good as any performance of that ever done at the Met. Over the years she performed O Sole Mio with several others including Patrizio Buanne. She is comfortable in many genres including opera, musicals, gospel, sacred aria, movie scores, crossover etc. Everybody seems to have a favorite. I think her best performance of Ave Maria was the performance done in Lecce, Italy.

Amira is Great! No question she will succeed in whatever genre she choose as her main vocal platform. But, I really believe her talents, including the power and control she has vocally, can only be fully displayed on stage in live opera performances. Stage presence, "live" acting ability, "being" the character vocally, everything else needed to pull off an opera can only be displayed in an opera. Only the best of the best can do it. I wish her well, no matter what path she takes, What an incredible young Lady.

Everytime I hear her singing this song, tears come from this Angel of 9 here. She sings this song again at 11, 12, 13, 14, each time more and more beautiful. I have also listened to other great and world class Opera Sopranos, Amira is better than some.

The most cool rhing about amira was when she did her audition at hollands got talent, she told the jury she just played youtube videos and imitate it. She never got to a singing lesson in her entire life!

Her first appearance was on Hollands got talent. Singing Oh mio babbino Caro. She floored the judges. There is a version with English subtitles. Her final offering on the show was Nessus Dorma. Since then she has matured, received singing lessons, started a charitable foundation ( gelukskinders ) and sang her socks off. Try gabriellas song. Nella fantasia. Nessus Dorma or anything else with her name attached. She nails it every time.

You said it Amira transcends into an astral plane of her own. We watch with amazement at this gifted girl.

Great reaction to Amira. I'll have to look to see what others you have done since May. It is interesting to note that in one of the first interviews she did after her first audition she said that her goal really wan't so much to win Holland's Got Talent as it was to just be on TV. Perhaps since she had already achieved that goal she was not so nervous as expected. She is a remarkable young girl who even at that early stage wanted to use some of her winnings to build playgrounds for poor children in South Africa, and has since done so. I hope you do more Amira reactions as she has matured a bit and has done wonderful concerts. I recommend Amazing Grace, Nella Fantasia, and Gabriella's Song.

At 9 she said she wants to be a singer and sing opera. Natural talent here. They preserved her voice nicely, waiting for maturity of the voice. She is already great but one day will blow people away!

Amira is fantastic in my opinion. She had trained herself watching you tubes up to the tryouts. That performance got recognized by Andre Reiu, who offered her a masterclass. That took place just before this performance. I believe also some coaching from the show. She won with over 50% of the votes in finals after. All of her performances are beautiful. Before I forget this was the 2013 Hollands Got Talent show. You can play anything Amira for me, love them all. You mentioned almost as many views. In a documentary she was bouncing on a trampoline and she said that she feels like she is somewhere else on the trampoline--then she said the same thing happens when she sings. She goes somewhere else--inside the song and is swallowed up by it. She is truly amazing. You have to realize that she has had NO voice lessons--NONE wheh she sang what you just heard!!!!! Let that sink in. She has such raw talent and such ability to focus that she just listened to Maria Callas on RU-vid and practiced until her mom said she was ready to go on Holland's Got Talent and the rest is history.
