She possesses immense talent, an incredible work ethic, and has grown up in a completely nurturing environment. She has obviously been studying music theory, vocal techniques, and the important artists that have preceded her, her whole life. She has already demonstrated that she can sing any style. Angelina is an epic live performer and has been since she was little. Don't be dissuaded by her age when deciding what videos to react to. She literally had a mic in her hand singing along with Whitney at 18 months old and grew up with a love for Jazz standards. I listen all her covers and with her smokey , raspy voice and her emotions when she sing, all covers, 130+ of them , are better than original songs. She have also 3 original songs. I just love her. I've been watching all her videos and see that she leaves people speechless witth her performance, charm, charisma, humbleness and, of course, amazing voice and arrangments. She sings from the heart and touchs the audience's heart. The 1st song Angelina ever sang was in her crib at 18 months of age. Mery is a jazz enthusiast and began introducing Angelina to jazz by age 2 or 3 through a friend of Mery's who owns a small vintage vinyl record shop in Oslo. There are videos of a very young Angelina going through jazz record bins, carrying a Frank Sinatra song book and singing/playing piano in the little shop. Her first recording session was at age 6. Her first two performances on NGT (she won) were Billie Holiday songs. She also sang a Sonny Bono song and George Gershwin’s “Summertime”. Angelina has 125+ covers, 3 original songs and many interviews and thousands of reaction videos on RU-vid as well as over one BILLION hits total on social media worldwide. She covers more than 50 artists including Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Dinah Washington, Louis Armstrong, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Adele, Lana Del Ray, Elvis Presley, James Brown, Julie London, Patsy Cline, GEORGE GERSHWIN, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Queen, Elton John, The Righteous Brothers, Leslie Gore, Frankie Valli and many more. One day while they were walking through the market place Angelina spotted a young girl about her age who was offering to weigh passersby on a bathroom scale in exchange for small coins. Angelina was allowed to go over and talk with the girl for quite a while and they had a strong connection. Angelina at one point asked the girl what her dream was. The girl wanted to be a doctor but her parents were dead so she and her 2 siblings had to work. Angelina told her to never give up on her dream. Angelina had noticed the girl was barefoot on a cold day and her feet were scarred and blistered. When the girl admired Angelina's beautiful shoes Angelina took them off and insisted her new friend take them. Her friend put them on marveling at their comfort and asked Angelina what was her dream. Angelina told her she wanted to be a superstar and sing for the whole world. The little girl said she would pray for Angelina every day and Angelina promised to always sing barefoot while there were still children without shoes. For 8 years now Angelina has been faithfully true to her promise. At age 8 she wrote a book, illustrated by her grandmother Mery about the encounter called "Mellom To Hjerter" (Between Two Hearts) making her Norway's youngest published author. Angelina regularly performs for children's charities and donated much of her 80,000 euros prize for NGT to charity and helped raise over 21 million euros in Germany for children's charities. Angelina always comports herself with grace, humility and respect for all including audience, fans and artists. Angelina is beautiful in every way God intended. I am a grizzled old sailor of 65 years and she melts my heart. I adore her and thank God for sending His Angel to us.

Fun fact: around the age of 5 she was in town with her grandmother and noticed a barefoot child begging. She gave her shoes to this other child and promised to always sing barefoot until all the children in the world had shoes!

To me, near the beginning of the clip, is when the stage hands are showing her how to use the microphone. She is fantastic.

You absolutely MUST review Angelina’s cover of I Put a Spell on You. She covers the original version by Screaming Jay Hawkins and it might just be the most amazing version ever done. She was 9 years old when it was recorded. To give you an idea of how good it is, there are literally hundreds of reaction videos for her video.

Angela sings a song that is a total departure from anything else that she has done so far. It just shows another dimension of her voice. It is hauntingly beautiful....exquisite even. A Russian composer specifically wrote the music for Angelina Jordan to sing. He put it on his Album which was otherwise is all instrumental. It is called “Song for A” Nico Cartosio. The lyrics come from a poem written by Robert Burns in the 1700s. .
