This song just builds and builds.. so cool! Note: I picked this song with my younger sister in mind, who always listens to this song. So this ones for you Bit!
Hell yeah!! Early Arctic Monkeys are treasure (first three albums pretty much, personally) but this track in particular has always had a special place with me; when it all just breaks loose is just such a pure feeling man. Old Yellow Bricks from this album is also a fav of mine. Alex Turner is a really fantastic lyricist, so wordy but so evocative. I really recommend checking more of their stuff out. And check out his side project, The Last Shadow Puppets for some 60s retro-orchestral vibes
Definitely!! Love that! I honestly could listen to the Suck It and See album on repeat to the end of time tho 😂 I'm a sucker for Alex's slower, nonchalant vocals lmao The Car was phenomenal imo too
Alex Turner, the lead singer of arctic monkeys, once said that he wants to be part of the strokes 😊 So maybe some the strokes reactions soon? The strokes Ode to the Mets for example 😊 Totally not a mental comment 😂❤
Great reaction Erol hearing you analyse this track was really cool - I’d LOVE for you to react to their newer stuff (Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino and The Car). It’s so much more complex and so much more impressive, lyricism is genius. I can’t say enough about it 🙌❤
Hell yeah! Alex Turner writes such great lyrics. 505 wouldn't have been my first choice but from that album you can't go wrong. R U Mine?, Mardy Bum or Red Lights Indicate Doors Are Secured for example are other great songs.
The two chords at the beginning are actually inspired by a short piece by Ennio Morricone in The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-con_rykul6w.htmlfeature=shared
Loved your video and interpretation, sir! If you let me, I'd recommend other Arctic Monkeys songs, like Fluorescent Adolescent, Do me a Favour and If You Were There Beware (all of the same album as 505), or if you'd want to, react to the full album, or all their albuns, they are all great and kind of different. Anyways, congrats again, and love from Brazil!
Lyrics and mood. Catchy, take their time. Assured, confident. A band That knows what it is. A.M. is a masterpiece. The first album also, a wondrous gem. First album, can you believe it !
@@ErolReacts well, lots! Yaşamak Istemem - Yavuz Çetin (sometimes called the Turkish Jimi Hendrix) Süpürgesi Yoncadan (Live at KEXP) - Altın Gün (a traditional song covered by a Psychdelic band) Deniz Üstü Köpürür - Cem Karaca (A legend. This song has a funky bass slapping solo in it)
this was the first arctic monkeys song i ever heard and now i'm a huge fan of them & their side projects! this song actually had miles kane on lead guitar who isn't in the band but is in a side project/supergroup with the arctic monkeys lead singer alex turner called the last shadow puppets. they're worth checking out too! arctic monkeys have been on a huge journey through different genres as they get older, from garage rock in the beginning to a more lounge-y sound now. they really switched it up after their fifth album which caused a divide in the fanbase but i personally love all of their music. great reaction!! :))
