I was there at Yokohama Arena for this. Both nights were exciting, electric, and exhausting but the highlight of both nights was Momoko descending from the roof on night one for "Momobanger" and night two for "Momo Taro." They put the spotlight directly on her and she shone beautifully.
Momo did a great job. To comment on Su, not only can she do the choreo, she is okay taking a back seat. So many front people need to be the center of attention, and are always trying to grab it on stage. Take Black Sabbath, Tony used to fight with Ozzy for doing antics during his solos. Not knocking Ozzy, but it's common for front people to crave attention. But Su is so chill. She is an exceptional person.
Amen brother, and not only for specials, Moa and Momo are often positioned in front of Su in a lot of their choreography to emphasize them. Love their mutual respect! 🤘🦊
If I'm not mistaken, back when she was in Sakura Gakuin, right before the formation of babymetal, they were thinking to give her a mainly dancing character, instead of singing. Su's dancing has a different charm compared to Moa, Mommo or even Yui. It's special in its own way, idk how else to explain it.
I've noticed Su has developed serious big sister energy as they've got older. Just look at the smile and nod she gives Momo as she hands the mic to her - that's a "you've got this" look if ever I've seen one.

Momoko is just the perfect fit for babymetal. Her screams are incredible and yet her singing voice is just so cute. Her vocals blend in so well with Moa's and of course she's a great dancer. There couldn't be anyone better to continue Yui's legacy than her
Thanks again from Japan 有難う。 Juxtaposition of growl and overly cutesy (intentionally anime-like) voice by Momometal. New ammunition of BABYMETAL. Momoko cannon loaded with sheer dark explosives and a warhead made of shiny and bubbly metal. I witnessed this performance and got crushed into pieces, smilingly of course, at the venue and was also honored to have a chance to celebrate Momoko's last day of her 20 years of age. (The following day, March 3 was her 21st birthday with another special production with totally different setlist)
Momo jumps in a does a low pitch scream right off the bat. And she ends with that as well…that’s awesome. I think she surprised many people…because I don’t think anyone expected her to scream like that.

I'm sorry you didn't see the intro to the song. The explanation that 20 years ago MomoMetal was born and his appearance descended from the heavens is fantastic. Now you need to do a REACT of Meta Taro (MomoMetal Version).
After seeing this the first time, Momo automatically became my favorite member. She’s so charismatic. I really like her voice. I definitely understand about getting emotional, I’m like that with Lovebites. When you really connect with a band and their music, it’s definitely something almost spiritual.
I was there at Legend MM for Momobanger and it completely lived up to our massive expectations. Momo absolutely killed it with her unique performance, and the whole show was a fantastic retrospective of Momo's era with the group revisiting the Metal Galaxy album when she was an Avenger.
Now you need to react to Momo Taro when it's finally on RU-vid! Plus you gotta do the Nendo tests too still! lol But yes, now you really are a TRUE Babymetal fan. You're at the point where you pretty much think of them as your little sisters. You have so much pride for the girls when they achieve success, you look at the fans and are happy they are showing the girls the proper respect they deserve, it gets you emotional when the girls swap out places and share special moments... yeah, it's over for you, you're a dedicated fan now lol Welcome home :)
It appears that You were talking over the major Momo growl and missed it. She does a minor growl at first (that you got excited about) then she walks to the front and lets out a Major growl (like the one in Metali), which sends the music into hyperdrive, which you may have missed. Maybe check it out again to be sure you heard it
great reaction Luke-Metal, some clever editing going on to beat the copyright, just wait until you see the actual performance with the Lore video and Momo entrance from the sky, and then the next night on her actual birthday they did a special version of Meta Taro, which we have nicknamed Momo Taro with another Lore video followed by another grand entrance from the sky, yeah both songs get me right in the feels, two special nights for a very special lady.
I‘m sorry for the negativity, but the compilation ruins it for me. The great thing, as you are saying, is the crowd welcoming and appreciating Momoko. But for large parts of the video, that’s not what it is. It‘s a completely different show from when she was still an avenger. The crowd is not cheering explicitly for her. In other scenes she isn‘t even there at all. I do understand to some extent why people are doing this, but for these occasions in particular, it just doesn’t do it. But maybe that’s just me. That being said, it‘s great to see Momoko bringing some new elements and character into the band. It does indeed feel a bit like „new“ BABYMETAL.

Good thing to note is the lyrics changed in this to state " on the night of my 20th birthday" when originally it states "on the night of my 13th birthday" because it was her Bday that day.
Good reaction, but... probably the 80% of the footage on that compilation video is not from Legend-MM. There is even footage without Momoko on stage. And that's not good. You deserve better.
I was there for the March 2nd concert at YOKOHAMA ARENA. before the song started they did a video intro and MOMOMETAL descended from the rafters above the circle stage. In which i know surprised everyone. Though i did not win a ticket for March 3rd's concert. I still had fun and checked of an item from my bucket list. P.S this was the day before her 21st Birthday.
Think this was a compilation, you can see at the beginning only 2 girls are there on one shot. Other shots have different stages, but mostly Momo version.
If you look out you will also find YuiMetal singing Headbanger, aroung her 15th birthday (2014). But sadly all videos I could find were low quality ones, filmed from cellphones from the croud
Great reaction ... horrible compilation. This is meant to be MomoBanger, but for a large proportion of the video it was using clips where she wasn't even on stage. Call me old fashioned, but that just seems wrong. By the same token, the crowds you were talking about were the crowds at those other concerts, not Legend MM. Find the real thing when you can (ideally with the introduction lore and Momo coming down from the ceiling) and listen out for Momo's "Hedobanobanobannnn!" I think you may have missed it.
