Great reaction, thanks! Some says that "Syncopation" is underrated but the fact is that it's always around number five on fan favorite polls. I personally believe that it's their best song objectively (once I put apart my personal style preferences and biasses). Very classy song, subtle blastbeats (seems impossible), Su's flawless vocals (as always). And the ending, with that tasty guitar solo and the drums, is just perfect.
There is something very classy about their repertoire. Reminds me of the Beatles. They were not just a rock band. Everything they did, from All you need is love to Let it Be, Hey Jude, Yesterday was something so very elevated. I feel the same about the craftmanship of Babymetal. It breathes culture. And I love it.
This is why it is such a fan favorite! The build up and intro and the guitar & drums just builds up so much hype for the song! Of coarse their singing is amazing and beautiful! 💖🎶
I was watching your BabyMetal vids recently. I wondered how hard it would be to see one of their live shows. Turns out it was not hard at all. Their tour is swinging through my city this summer. I now have tickets to see a show I would not have even known about were it not for you. Thank you for introducing me to a new experience.
Great reaction. If you had got tickets to see them in Brixton in 2019 you could have experienced this song in person - it is a Japan exclusive track and that was the only time, to date, that they have played it live outside of Japan. When the heartbeats started sounding the crowd went wild. Su has said she was so surprised everybody there already knew the song since it had never been released outside of Japan. Apparently there are a couple of blokes who were there who can't stop banging on about it in the comments under reactions to 'Syncopation' ... I've been keeping my eyes open for them and I know MartinMetal, who was also there, has been watching out for them as well ... no joy in identifying them yet which is weird since both of us watch the reactions and read the comments.🥸🔍😇

Su-Metal is one and only ingredient that makes that crazy recipe possible : something like chocolate ice-cream on top of bloody rare beefsteak 😄. This is a compilation from 3 shows in Yokohama, Nagoya (2019) and Makuhari (2020). "Syncopation" reminds me, an aged Japanese, of good old songs to which I listened many years ago at home sitting in front of a TV. BABYMETAL, however, gave a new power to this type of song. It does not sound obsolete anymore, at all. That is one of the magics they have. In 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN concerts in 2021, I witnessed this song beautifully performed twice at the venue. Once the heartbeat intro got started, my heartbeat went faster and faster. And then the song started just before my heart was overheated to stop.
Oddly enough, Syncopation and From Dusk Till Dawn are both track 7 on the Japanese and European editions, respectively, of the 2nd album Metal Resistance. Which kinda changes the whole feel of each album. Anyway, useless facts aside, I can't remember if you've reacted to Onedari Daisakusen, a Black Babymetal song from the 1st album.
Great reaction I have been a BIG Babymetal fan for 11 years went to see them in 2018 and I took my daughter to the concert on the 8 June just past and I'm still in the clouds they were fantastic awesome
"Suki kirai suki kirai suki" "Suki kirai suki kirai" Syncopation is another banger on Metal Resistance 2nd album. Our queen and princesses are undecided, like a syncopated heart, if they are really in love. Syncopation was the track exclusively for Japanese album while "From Dusk Till Dawn" was released for International version of Metal Resistance, although later on they performed this song outside of Japan because is a banger with more rock sound rather than metal. Along with Karate, is one of those songs many fans got that anime vibes, for me Karate would be the opening and Syncopation the ending, although it works like an opening too. Till this day those were the only BM songs with that anime vibes for me, but after the new single DA - Shingeki comes out, now i got three songs. This is a live compilation with footage of live concerts in 2019 after YuiMetal left the group during the "avenger" era, Kano Fujihira is the avenger filling the third spot as a backup dancer. One of the concerts was at Yokohama Arena with around 15 or 17k capacity, the other one was one of the halls in Port Messe Nagoya (celebrating MoaMetal 20th Birthday in her hometown) and apparently was no longer than 10K capacity iirc. The Kami Band after 2019 live concerts always wear masks, but you can enjoy a version without masks and with YuiMetal dancing live at Tokyo Dome 2016. Yesterday they finished the Australian leg of this World Tour and everyone were having a blast, more shows are coming including one exclusive for fans in Japan called "Apocrypha - Another One". You are barely half way through the Babymetal catalogue, and there are dozens of gems still to be discovered. I don't believe you've heard a single *Black Babymetal* song yet (which is what we call Moa and Yui when they performed without Su), with _"Sis Anger"_ and _"Onedari Daisakusen"_ being my two favourites. You really need to listen to _"Yava",_ and when you do, make sure to get a live version with a Kami Band intro. Same thing with _"Awadama Fever",_ which is a very lighthearted song (in the same vein as _"Gimme Chocolate"_ but with perhaps even better choreo). A personal favorite of mine would be _"Starlight",_ which I think is massively underrated. I even love the odd music video, even though the girls are barely in it. And it just so happens to be the first song in the trilogy of lights, which I am pretty sure I've seen plenty of people recommend in the comments. Syncopation is a musical concept where basically the note/beat comes on the off-beat. Like, if there are 4 beats per measure, rock rhythms are typically on the 2nd and 4th beat. But syncopation is when it occurs not on the 1st and 3rd (which are still on-beat), but on the 2nd-and and 4th-and. (1-and-2-and-3-and-4-and). They whole song is not syncopated, but definitely certain sections to switch up the rhythms and create an unexpected/surprising experience

I think you would really enjoy Brand New Day from the Metal Galaxy album. I would say it has some similarity to FDTD and is a collaboration with Polyphia. Also Shanti Shanti Shanti (again from Metal Galaxy) which showcases Su's incredible vocal versatility. I don't believe you've done either of those.

Fun fact: Syncopation and From DuskTill Dawn occupy the same spot on the Metal Resistance album. That‘s because the former is only included on the Japanese version, while the latter is only on the international version. I feel a little betrayed. :-) So folks, you know what to do: Buy both!

The first person who milked a cow was a genius not a weirdo. I can guess the reason was they had a baby where the mother could not produce milk to breast feed but they saw their cows feeding their calf's and thought if cow milk would be a good replacement. They also probably drank some themselves to see if it was safe.
Don't know how far you are from London, but they'll be there this November. I got tickets when I found out they were swinging through my part of America! I'm hoping they record the performances so I can get an official DVD/CD of the night, but if not, I'll do my best with my phone!

I recommend a very unique first time reaction music experience. It is done two Japanese brothers using a very traditional instrument called a Shamisen. It is similar in shape to a long neck guitar but is played with only 3 strings and the use of a paddle. The two brothers the "Yoshida Brothers" revolutionized the its use by bringing it into use with a modern day rock style. Please give us you presentation of "Yoshida Brothers - Rising". I hope many people will support this suggeston.
As far as I can see you have yet to react to a band called The Warning. All you need to know at this point is that they are an all female, 3 piece rock band from Mexico. Start with a track called Disciple or their version of Metallica's Enter Sandman as recorded for the recent blacklist album.

Nice reaction. Babymetal just makes you want to go to a live show. Since their return to their Metal Kingdom. The stage in front of a live audience. Babymetal has done some really pumped-up shows. Su has really been very happy with the way the shows have been going. You can tell from her big grin in just about every photo I've seen from this tour. Moa's hair seems extra-long is flying everywhere. And then there's the issue with the flag that covered. Other than that, we might be able to see her dimples. Momoko is very in synch with them right now. Even more so that when they did the 10 years of Babymetal shows. I don't know when they decided to promote Momoko but she earned her spot. And the work she put in shows up a lot on this tour footage I've seen. Babymetals music has always been a mix bag. But every time you think this is them at the top of their game. Another song comes out and they just got better. Is it cheating to start so young that by the time you're 25 you're thought of as an old pro? The foxhole is deep and full of surprises.
Always liked this song. Metal Resistance is a great album. Just saw them live for the first time in Sydney on Friday. Definitely an experience. Glad they finally gave Momo a mic.
Yep My absolute favorite. Almost lost it when I FINALLY got to experience it live in... I think Brixton. That show was INSANE. Went to sn afterparty which went on for over an hour after the pub closed & I was still so pumped I walked home ( around 30miles😅)

I think it's amazing I keep doing the same thing as you do, I listen closely to a BabyMetal song and it becomes my favorite then listen to another one it becomes my favorite I'm up to at least 15 of there songs that are my favorite. My newest one is Meta Taro, I highly advise you watch the compilation video

Syncopation is actually my ring tone 😆 Babymetal have many underrated songs that don't get performed as much as they should. I recommend the next one you should react to is Amore. It's a Su solo song, and is another power metal style so expect a fast pace and some great instrumentals mid song.
There's plenty more to listen to if you dig around :D Plenty of suggestions already I see and there's always Sakura Gakuin (origin of Babymetal and some REALLY entertaining stuff & good music there) if you get desperate.

The biggest shame about Syncopation is that it was never officially on an album outside of Japan. The only place to hear it is either on a live performance on disk or online, or by not as proper means. In western countries, the Metal Resistance album had "No Rain, No Rainbow" instead of "Syncopation". And while it's a good song, I still feel we were robbed of an amazing studio performance
I think 'Megitsune' has won most of the fan polls over the years, 'Akatsuki' has crept up with a couple of recent ones ... but none of us can really agree on which is THE favourite as we all have our own preferences and our own favourites.
@@Grington300 from what I’ve seen in the international community, it’s very widely accepted that Akatsuki is ‘the best’. I haven’t seen many say that Megitsune is their favorite though. Maybe it was the favorite a while back
@@PoliAstroN "The best" is a very subjective thing (for example I think Amore is better, but that is just my own opinion and I have a few others that I like even better than both songs). As I said, Akatsuki has crept up more recently, Megitsune was always top of all the fan polls I ever saw until maybe the last 6-12 months.
Syncopation always rates very highly in fan polls, but I don't think it's the number one fan favourite. It was the Japan exclusive track on Metal Resistance, while the international version got From Dusk Til Dawn. For some reason or other, Koba thought that Syncopation was "too Japanese" for the international audience. In spite of this its very popular with western fans, though they don't usually play it live anywhere outside Japan; the one time they did play it overseas was in London in 2019. I personally love Syncopation, its my personal number 2 Babymetal song. It and Yava! (and TotD) remain my white whales of Babymetal songs I want to see live.

I suggest seeing the LIVE performance duo with Moa and Yui and then follow it by Moa Doing Onedari Daisakusen solo at Budokan 2021 (both are great). Day 30 of recommending the Beyblade openings. There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. I made playlists on my channel, so you don't need to search, cause in those compilations are a few off and not in the correct order. Thanks for checking out!
