That "homerun" reference is a shoutout to their 1st song, "Batter Up" which broke the record as most views by a debut song in 24hrs and the fastest debut song to reach 200M views. Yeah they hit a homerun with Batter Up and yes, Sheesh here is on another level.

This MV is the evil sister of their previous MV "Stuck in the middle" which is the disney princess theme. Btw quality of the MV is one of the YG's strength typically.

I like your interpretation for Rora on the piano in general too. The two cochlea (spiral ear canals, you got it right away👍) on the walls behind rapping Ahyeon and Ruka are cool, and also these two “rev” the two dirt bikes on the side walls during Asa’s amazing rap; you caught the bikes right away too! Ahyeon saying she’s not just one of the announced 5 members (YG’s 1st announced members before YG’s flip), not just one of the current 7 members, but that she is 10 out of 10 (score/flex)! “Boom Boom Pow”…Black Eyed Peas perchance? “Rum pum pum pum” à la f(x) but making your ears feel good instead of, or in addition to, piercing your heart or hurting your head? They ARE on a “roll” (as they sing in the outro)…a Rolls-Royce Ghost car that is, worth over $350,000! Asa mentions riding in on a Ghost in her rap, and a Rolls would definitely be a big flex. They are so hyped bcoz they are the most talented rookie gg in kpop and their senior "Blackpink".

The maze is representative of mythology where I guess the gods would hold minotaurs or other"monsters" to keep them caged and trapped.

The maze spells BM which stands for Babymonster. The homerun referenced back to their previous song Batter Up. Not a 5 or 7 referenced to their pre-debut group makeup which was suppose to be 5 members, but eventually ended up as 7.

it's a Cretan labyrinth. All path lead to the center. The mythology is that it is used to trap the Minotaur (a monster) and at the same time protect the center of the maze. In the video, you see them come together in the center in the end, saying the girls are the monsters, in case you were in doubt at this point. hehe. If you look closely, the maze have BM (for Baby Monster) in the center. On the piano sheet, on the door, on the floor in the end... even in the roof in the "dragon mouth" you can find BM as part of the maze :)

In the 2 hallways where they were talking about ears if you look at the wall behind them, there's a white and a black "seashell" on the respective sides, it's a diagram of the inside of the ear . Also, the scene when they are in a line... with what looks like pillars behind them..? Those are teeth, and they are dancing inside of a mouth.

The door have the maze with BM.

The maze spells BM in the center, which stands for the name of the group. So I think it's some kind of reverse psychology. In a maze we will usually try to find a way out to the side. But this maze instead directs towards the center to find the BM at the center of the maze. Or it could also represent Monsters who are trapped in the middle of a maze, then will come out to show themselves to the world. In the door scene, she passes through the door as a princess, singing high note with angelic voice and then appears with a dark appearance, and whispering that she is a monster. Like representing their 2 identities. They look cute and soft like a baby, but have a badass monster side. I didn't catch the dirt bike before, thanks to you tho
