Laura Witt - For me it was the ROBIN effect! Don't forget the Bee Gees were THREE and all vital as singers and composers. Many of their early international hits were sung by Robin's amazing voice and all three wrote their songs for themselves and others. The twins also had a ton of fans including me since 1967!

They didn't ALWAYS sing in falsetto, but when they did!!!!!! WOW. They are also known as great songwriters and wrote MANY top 10 hits for other artists. And I love to drop nuggets of Bee Gee Trivia, example, none of the brothers could read music! Just God given talent!

1979.... I was a sophomore in high school. And Andy was so handsome. And certainly has an angelic voice. The Bee Gees often came on the radio .... Yes, lots and lots and lots of times. Thanks, your adorable when you're listening to these songs. In God we trust. Come Lord Jesus.

They donated the proceeds from this song to UNICEF in perpetuity. Not sure if you noticed the scars on Barry’s chest. He pulled a just poured tea pot onto himself as a toddler and was given 20 minutes to live at on point. Can’t imagine a world without their music. All four (including younger brother Andy) are said to have perfect pitch. Barry announced at 8 that he was going to be a pop star when he grew up and started working at it from that time. Maurice and Robin are twins 3 years younger than Barry. Maurice said he asked if they could be pop stars, too. Barry said yes, and Barry was the big brother... he knew everything, so if he said they could, they believed it. The work ethic as kids was unbelievable. It’s one of the most inspiring - and entertaining - stories. No matter what, they believed in the dream and what they heard coming out of themselves, and made it happen. I'm 84 years old. I knew who the Bee Gees were but when I listened to your reaction video of Too Much Heaven, it was seriously the first time I heard them sing. NOW, I am in love with them. And I have a huge crush on Robin. Yes I knew Robin and Maurice are deceased. They called Robin a songbird. Indeed he was. I wondered if he could whistle. Googled it and yes, just like a songbird!! Heard Maurice solo and he had a deeper voice and sounded a little country. Each one of them had perfect voices. Just like angels!

AND they had a younger brother who was a toddler when they started singing and he had a successful solo career. He was about to join the group when he passed away at age 30. I used to listen to this in middle school… kids thought I was weird. Now everybody reacting to it and realizing how great it is. Moral of the story: stay weird, even if everyone is against you. If you know something is great don’t let anyone take that from you 🤘🏽

Not only do the BeeGee's have the most angelic voices ever, and they donated all the profits from this song to "UNICEF". They wrote and sang all the songs for the movie "Saturday Night Fever" from the seventies. This song gives me goosebumps every time I hear it, and it's a shame that this generation doesn't have the love songs that we had back in the day.

If you noticed Barry closes his eyes while singing part of the song as though he puts himself in a trance, to find an oneness with the song,that the song becomes him! Born in Douglas on the Isle of Man between the UK & Ireland. Parents moved to Manchester England when the boys were little. Later they migrated to Australia. They were a kid act there and as teenagers --In the 60’s they came back to England to ride the British Invasion (musically), they made it big there and then in the USA. Only Barry is the only living brother now. He was the one in the middle singing. His youngest brother Andy (who also died) also had a solo career (sounded a lot like Barry). They have written over 1000 songs for themselves and others. There are some great suggestions below.

They are not Australian.They are British,lived in Oz,for a few years,back to Britain,then to the US.They also lived in Spain.They are just wonderful songwriters,musicians,angelic singers,and also lovely people.Andy,Mo,and Robin,R.I.P.,never to be forgotten.Stay strong Barry,you are much loved.❤️❤️❤️❤️

honey i watched you about 5 weeks ago. you are such a blessed guy. i just watched the doctomentery of the Bee Gees i didnt realize they had went to World Wide Fame. 1000 songs they rote. and everyone was kept as they wrote it. Now all are Dead. no one has ever compared to them. they are all lead singers in different songs. little brother Andy Gibb also made his career singing, but got into drugs and ruined his heart. died at 30. I to felt the way you did. i was so lifted in my Sperit. i told my husband i felt likr i had been lifted up to God from this song. i am Penecostal and have been in some amasing singing and Worshiping hightes with my Lord. We hurd the Heavenly Quire Singing with us one night. most Beautiful Voices. The Bee Gees and Andy Gibb were ALL brothers and of the few, if only, who embraced funk, soul and R&B and we're successful for it. So, they prove no matter a person's skin color, it comes from within one's soul. You've got to appreciate their mark on the World their music left. Definitely check out the song “Nights on Broadway” the live performance on the show Midnight Special. They don’t use the falsettos like they do in all the others you’ve watched. It’s amazing! They are amazing.
