The simplest answer is BigBang are the Kings of Kpop. Their lives are insane, they have swag for days. They are a "big brother" group to BlackPink. They do smooth R&B, pop, EDM, mixes of different genres. Their debut MV is Lalalala & this one was off of their last EP before they started military service.

Hi fellow VIP, just a little correction: Their debut was with the single album named BigBang, the "main" song being We Belong Together ft Park Bom released 28 of august. LaLaLa is part of their second single album BigBang is VIP (I believe that is the right name). this one released a month or 2 later. so i would say their debut song is we belong together. LaLaLa in the other hand is part of the album BigBang Vol.1 which is their debut album, meaning it was their 1st full studio album. I know it is not a big deal but i wanted just to add this part. Sorry if the english is not the best btw!

They're the kings of kpop. G-dragon (the leader) is a major fashion icon in asia, TOP (The astronaut guy) is an actor too and he loves to collect art, Seungri (our maknae, the guy with blond hair) is doing his military service right now, Taeyang (the guy with pink hair) is actually a married man now😁 and Daesung (the guy with his eyes covered by his hair) it's the king of japan. Every member in BIGBANG have a successful solo career and a lot of artist are fans or were inspired to become a trainees because of them. In August is their 14 anniversary but currently they're on hiatus (since 2017) because they've had to serve their country, maybe at the end of the year we could have some music from them

One of the distinctions of Kpop is that they mix musical styles, genres, etc., however they want. They don't separate neatly according to 'western' markets, which is one reason why western audiences don't always know what to do with Kpop. I love that mixing. I love the energy. BigBang are the kings, GDragon in particular.

Funfact they was the first group to use the lightsticks (G-Dragon idea ) they are really big in kpop industrie and debuted on 2006. Big Bang is simply Big Bang; G-Dragon aka Kwon Leader (the one with red hair) writes and produces their songs. They pretty much do every genre. They have club bangers like "Bang Bang Bang" and "Fantastic Baby." Smooth, easy songs like "Fxxk It" and "We Like 2 Party." Love songs like "Haru Haru," "Blue," and "Let's Not Fall in Love." Even in the same song, they mix it up as you can see in this video. They've been going for 14 years come August and they're your idols' idols.

I love BIG BANG and its members. Please react to more BIG BANG. The group has been on hiatus because of the members military service. 4 members out of the five are back and ready to go. They were supposed to do their first set in a while at Cochella this spring but it was postponed until fall. The youngest member is currently in the military and is in deep legal trouble but he hasn't been convicted of anything.

YG Entertainment released a statement on January 31, that Seungri had been at the club on November 28, but left before Kim's (the guy who was involved with the sex scandal) incident occurred. He also said Seungri's recent resignation as a senior director of the club was due to his upcoming military enlistment. Seungri's delayed response to the controversy was in an Instagram statement on February 2, stating that he was not present at the club during Kim's alleged assault, had belatedly heard about it, and served as an executive director for the club and had no part in the club's operation or management; but he, however, apologized that he had not taken responsibility from the beginning." They tried to accuse him of getting involved and of providing services (women) to foreigners and other people. However, Seungri denied any involvement. Also, he hasn't been convicted of anything. To be honest, BigBang (was/is) so big that many were trying to defame them and bring them down. There is more to it and I suggest just looking it up.

They have been in the industry for a long time. Debuted 2006, so you can't really say that they talk mainly on one topic (like what you said with bts and blackpink). The subject of their songs are very varied. Take for example in their last album MADE. Every song tackles different things. One song talks about a person's downside like being a loser thus the its title, LOSER. Another talks about just enjoying the littlest things in life and their kind of fun kind of song- WE LIKE TO PARTY That weird song, BAE BAE, that you don't know if it talks about the progression of a relationship or just mainly about sex. Lol. And a lot more other things.

Actually im gonna say that they break every stereotypes, rules and standards since 2006 For me they are the realest artists in K-pop, they had scandals, controversies and staff and they are not afraid to show their real faces to whe world, and they music can heal G-dragon the leader is a huge man, he is multitalented and also write every single Bigbang song, even solo songs for his members, he also has his own brand Top is very i dont know...mysterious ahaha he is the alien and art collector Taeyang is the sun...only one member in BB without any scandal or controversy, also one of the best vocalist and dancer in kpop Daesung is an angel, his voice and his presence make my life better Seungri is the youngest, members always make fun of him ahaha, he has soft voice and Tom n Jerry relationships with GD And at the end, watch their live performances, ull never be disappointed

BIGBANG is that group that changed the negative perception against idols and inspired a new generation of young aspiring songwriters and producers to pursue an idol career. G-dragon was the first-ever trained idol that can FREELY write and produce their own music.
