Big Bang is one of legends group in K-pop industry and this song and mv it so meaningful because it's been 16 years after debut and it's been a long time they comeback again together after hiatus

BIGBANG IS TRUE KINGS OF KPOP👑👑👑👑👑

This song is atypical Bigbang sound, and many fans see it as a "goodbye" song. In Korea and to many kpop fans, bigbang is more than a boyband, they are almost an institution, many people in their 10s-40s grew up listening to them. G-dragon, rainbow hair, produces their songs and is considered a pioneer in many areas, and was idolized by many Asian men, not just in Korea. They had released their last album MADE which had all songs charting #1 or#2 in 2016 before going on few years hiatus due to military, mandatory for Korean men, except their youngest member who's not due for it yet. Then in 2019, he was involved in kpop's biggest scandal which had all the gritty deets, corruption, sex and money. He left the group but Bigbang's reputation is forever tarnished. Prior, main rapper T.O.P, rabbit mask, was caught with marijuana, illegal in Korea, and tried to kill himself before, hence the lyrics about being a better person hits hard. Many Korean reactors, including men, were tearing watching this MV. This very lyrical song is heavy nostalgia. When this song dropped in Korea midnight, it had the unprecedented highest stream in first hour and was top of the charts for weeks. Bigbang did almost zero promo after release and have never appeared together since before going to army, and the current 4 members never appeared in one MV scene together. Anyway bigbang has history and drama, king behavior. I'd say checknout Zutter to see why they are not your typical kpop group and their live performances, at one point they earned more money than Maroon 5 with concert tours.

Big Bang is fantastic, so, please, check out "Fantastic Baby" by Big Bang. Time Magazine ranked Big Bang the 10th most influential group/person in the world in 2012, two ranks higher than then Senator Obama. They made this song after their obligatory military service( required in South Korea). Their time after military service was marred by various scandals which would affect them as a group. Big Bang is from the same entertainment company, YG, as Blackpink.

There is a saying if BigBang aren't your bias group, they are your bias' bias. BigBang are highly respected in the kpop community having debuted in 2006 and are heavily involved in their music. There was originally 5 members but a member left the group in 2019 because of legal troubles (I won't go into it, but maybe someone else can explain it better than me). They hadn't had a comeback since 2018? because all the members had to serve in the military (if you don't know military service is mandatory for all men in South Korea for a minimum of 18 months). So this was the first song after their service. They broke down a lot of barriers in kpop and are considered kpop legends. Probably their biggest song is BANG BANG BANG. I would also suggest Fantastic Baby and another personal favorite of mine Haru Haru.

BIGBANG is part of the 2nd generation of idol groups. The first male idol group under YG entertainment. They've been around for 16 years and have engraved their name as ICONS and LEGENDS of our music industry. A few IDOLS in the past have carved their name in the Kmusic industry, BIGBANG, however, was the first to break away from the stereotypical image of an idol. They proved to the bashers and haters of IDOL groups that IDOLS can be talented like other respected ARTISTS in South Korea. They proved that idols don't need to be pretty to become successful. They proved that idols can produce their own music. In just two years, they made our nation sing their songs like it was our anthem. After that, the group continued to make a mark in our music and entertainment industry. These men made a lot of risks, change a system, went against the rules and our conservative culture, and created their own trends. They became known worldwide without the hype of fandom craze that you are experiencing today. That's how they became the trailblazers of the idol industry and made KPOP what it is today.

I am straight army through and through but I will give big bang their credit. They are one of the ones that paved the way for the 3rd and 4th generations of kpop. They are a different vibe for sure they are amazing rappers, singers and performancers. Their lives are also amazing and must be seen. Definitely watch more of them.

BigBang are the OGs of KPop and their discography is vast. GDragon used to have the highest number of copywrites in Korea. For their biggest song, check out: BANG, BANG, BANG. For their best all rap song: Zutter. For the most viral: Fantastic Baby. For best all around classic show of their abilities: F*CK IT. If you want all-time best rap song in KPop: Doom Dada by T.O.P (The guy in the rabbit mask). Once the the third fastest rap in the world it is a master class in flow switches.

When you think of legends, Big Bang is one of the best. Fans of many groups call their faves "legends" but Big Bang are why those other kpop groups exist. I hope you listen to more of them, especially songs like Fantastic Baby, Loser, and Bad Boy. VERY different style of songs.

When this song premiered, I cried. Knowing their journey, and them making a comeback as a 4 member group is bittersweet. VIPs (fandom) waited a long time (4 years) for their return from military service and various life events. It gives a lot of people a farewell vibe, but I'm hoping it's more of a "see you later". I left a comment on your Bang, Bang, Bang reaction and stumbled across this one. T.O.P (bunny mask) has left YG, but will join the group for activities if allowed by his schedule. He actually has vineyards in France and recently launched his own brand of wine, T'Spot (the coat he wore in this video actually has the name across the back). Random facts: - BIGBANG is the first group that named their fandom (VIPs). - G.D. designed their lightstick (called Bangbong) - which was the first lightstick ever in kpop. - Each member launched solo careers without having to disband as a group. - Started "airport fashion"

You saw this mv a month ago so you are at the beginning of you Big Bang journey, I just subscribed. I’m in the middle of my journey. My daughter introduced me to their music, I’ve always been into rock. So far my findings are GD is a genius music wise, fashion wise, business wise (he’s a Chanel embassador and has a contract with Nike). He uses different voices to get different effects, nobody can copy his voice or style, he truly is one of a kind. They call him the king of Kpop but I think he is more than that. The other 4 members are very talented as well, all 5 can and can hold their own in solo concerts, they have their own styles and are each very funny. But their stage presence is out of this world, T.O.P. takes his glasses off and the crowd goes wild...he opens his eyes they go wild again. They all have that charisma, but they truly love their fans “VIP’s”. The relationship between Big Bang and the VIP’s is something I never saw before (I grew up with The Beatles, I know). I agree with the VIP’s comments to watch their performances with their great live band, but imo it is best to watch their original mv first to see their evolution and creativity, then go live to see their talent. They do not lip-synch, it’s all them. Enjoy the journey as I am.

I was a V.I.P (Big Bang fandom name) before I became an ARMY and this song brought back so many emotions, sadness and memories of the past as a V.I.P. It is truly a nostalgic song but you won't be able to fully understand the emotions behind this song unless you know of them from the beginning and their journey. However, thank you so much for reacting to them and giving them a chance. By the way, BTS is a fan of Big Bang and recently RM (Leader of BTS) was seen with Taeyang (Big Bang member you said had a good voice) at a book event. In Kpop there is BB and AB. Before BigBang and after. They literally invented the modern kpop swag. If you look at the groups before BigBang and in their era none of them had dyed hair like Bigbang, none of them dressed in high fashion onstage, and none of them had their roots in hip-hop. Now it's an industry standard. The shift to BigBang stlye was so complete if you didn't follow kpop before BigBang you would think that it's always been like that because literally everyone follows that style. Even groups that survived the second generation.

Loved that you reacted to BIGBANG. They are a group, but also 5 excellent solo artists (Daesung's voice (curly hair) really shines in his solos - amazing voice.). Please, please can you react to G Dragon (rainbow coloured hair in this mv) doing a recent cover of Elvis's I can't help falling in love. The MV on his Official G Dragon channel is the one to watch. It has the full MV to this cover, which was directed by Baz Luhrmann who also directed the recent Elvis movie. BIGBANG music covers a wide range of genres. People often comment how different each of their songs are. Eng subs are really important for many of their MV's cos their lyrics are often so meaningful. MV's like Loser, sober have versions where fans have added eng sub to the official MV. Live they are incredible.

If you are going to do more reactions to BigBang, I definitely would suggest you to react to their life performances - they own the stage, their stage presence ir on another level. Kpop is a very versatile genre and it's pretty interesting to discover new artists. I would also suggest you to react to some Epik High songs (for example: Rosario, Born Hater) - it's an OG alternative hip hop group and their lyrics are always fire) From girl groups - check out Mamamoo - this girls can sing sing, their life performances are also lit. Someone in comments already recomended to check out DPR IAN - he is amazing, my personal favourites from him are No Blueberries and So Beautiful.
