From what I’ve read, the original song was performed by Bonnie Raitt with the same title. She had it published (1991) in her “Luck of the Draw” abum. At the end “the spin” is named “Love In the Nick of Time”

Play his self titled album. Turn the lights down, throw on some headphones and turn em up loud and vibe. It’s one of the best albums I’ve ever heard. His new music got a little weird for me but the self titled album cannot be matched.

Good authentic reaction man. I don't care if people like or dislike the song, as long as it's real. If you want to react to more Bon Iver, I'd recommend Naeem, 29 Stafford apts, Holocene, Beth/rest(rare book room), 8 circle. 22 a million in my honest opinion is one of the best albums ever released, but that takes a few listens at the very least to even begin to appreciate. Once you do though, it's very a deep and spiritual experience.👍

I’m sorry if this posts twice. But Bonnie Raitt wrote these songs. Nick of time was off her tenth album that won multiple Grammy awards including album of the year. She’s still touring at 72 and is a living legend. She’s on both of Rolling Stone’s lists of top 100 vocalists and guitarists. The original will always be my favorite. This singer from Bon Iver is named Justin Vernon. He has an insane vocal range and his lower register is just as beautiful if not more!

Where can I find the original video?

My biggest pet peeve in all these reaction videos are people who stop and start the song mid way through so they can make a comment. It’s like you’re cutting the legs out from under the art. It’s way more impactful to hear it all the way through so you can digest it whole and then make your thoughts known.

Justin Vernon is one of my frustrating singer loves, because I'm really not fond of his falsetto (which is absolute blasphemy to many, I know, I apologize), but his chest voice? Oh dear god, it's amazing. You can hear it on Big Red Machine's Reese, New Auburn (feat. Anaïs Mitchell), Birch (feat. Taylor Swift), and Renegade (feat. Taylor Swift), as well as his collaborations with Swift on folklore (exile) and evermore (evermore, where he uses chest and falsetto and something kind of in-between). I'm sure true fans can give you more examples of when he uses his chest voice; I find his falsetto grating enough that I never really followed Bon Iver, and ony recently discovered Big Red Machine.

The AIR Studios version is even better than this!
