If you're down to glide and slide on the Clair, then let's ride Tony Tone roll with Bone on the dark side But when you come just bring your guns witcha If your a busta niggas gone have fun witcha So nigga don't get me wrong, my niggas Swang them thangs, bang some brains Slangin' yayo, it all remains the same
I’m a 52 year old white woman just cooking Sunday dinner and listening to bone thugs with you handsome fellas. Brings back so many memories. Love 90’s music ❤
Tasha was just a blessing. She was a random girl. BONE tells the story of recording this song and going outside the studio and seeing her walking down the sidewalk and asks her if she can sing. She said "yeah" and the rest is history!
Damn watching these dudes make me feel old…lol Bone hands down one of the best rap groups of all time. Glad they learning some history. Nothing like growing up in the #90s
I'm 50 years old and i still love listening to Bone Thugs, was our jam back in the day, but most importantly like rap artists years ago they told their story. Hope you react to more old rap and appreciate its history.
As someone growing up as a teen in Ohio when Bone Thugz came out, them was the days! They put our little state on the map and repped hard for the Midwest. All these songs bring back the best memories! How I miss the 90’s.
Bone has so many bangers. Nobody rides the flow of the beat like those dudes. Y'all did exactly what lots of Bone thugs fans so when listening to them, especially when they would drop a new album it was just an experience where you would listen to every verse thinking daaaamn Krayzie killed it, then layzie would come in and he would kill it, then bizzie... Love bone so much.
@@Bob-te3le much respect to twista, I think his lyrical style and delivery takes precedence over the beat, like he is the lead because his style is so unique, vs Bone I think harmonizes with the beats more (pun intended). Lately both bone and twista have commented on each other, both sides giving respect, it's great to see. Props to Do or Die also, lots of high speed delivery lyricists from back in the day being forgotten.
I love Bone, but they aren't one of the pioneers of speed rapping. They learned how to speed rap from visiting Chicago and listening to all of the speed rappers.
@@ricardomelendez7687dont forget twista adrenaline rush. Crazy album. I dont support the gangster life but there is no denying its place in pop culture.
How have you not listened to these guys yet? Parenting fail. For real though, I grew up with these boys. Bizzie was my favorite for 20 years but now I've got a soft spot for Layzie. They are my all time favorite rap group. Play more of their stuff. It's so good.
For me, Krayzie (all-time favorite in the rap industry) and Bizzy are the favorites. When Layzie goes off, he goes off. But he doesn't always go off like Krayzie and Bizzy.
Aint no parenting fail. I loved Bone Thugs back in the day but I've grown up and matured. I don't want my kids listening to songs about committing or threatening murder and street life.
“Mo Murda” “ecstasy” “land of the heartless” “look into my eyes” “shoot ‘em up” some of their best IMO….. and their most underrated song is “not my baby”
Bone thug n harmony are the ONLY rappers that did a song with Notorious B.I.G. 2Pac and Eazy-E, and big pun while each of them was still alive. Not a single other rapper has that distinction in history. The speaks volumes to what the big ones thought about bone thugs. 💯🔥💯🔥
First CD I ever bought with my own money. On first listen I felt a body high and euphoria I have rarely felt in my life! Crazy how music can affect you.
41 yrs old today… and I have to say we had the best teenage years. The world sucks now… music too. This was our lives put into music. I praise the Most High for change and His mercy & grace
Crossroads was a great song. Played it at my brother’s funeral. There were 2 versions. The original, and the radio version. (You have to remember back in the 90s there was usually a clean version and an Explicit language version. But was not their best song. So many great hits to list. Keep exploring Lil homies!
Mary J Blige is #1. You can't go wrong with Foe Tha Love of $ or Thuggish Ruggish. Both are classic and frankly they are at the top of my list for rap groups/Rap artists. Great reaction keep um coming. If I remember correctly, Eazy E signed Bone Thugs.
It’s so awesome to see you guys get into Bone and trip out how bad ass they are. They brought a whole different sound to the game. Their harmony is so beautiful they made thug life drugs guns sound so freaking beautiful lol . Your reactions gave me goosebumps that’s exactly how we felt when they first came out. Thank you for sharing this it was so entertaining to watch you guys enjoy music from my generation
Great song on a great album. The mid 90's was a great time. Great music and the last times when no cell phones and no social media. The last of times with actual person to person interaction with no text or phone message getting in between that. I miss those times, being a teen throughout the 90'waa honestly a blessing
Bone made a song called "Crossroad" on the album E. 1999 Eternal in 1995, but by 1996 they lost a lot of people including Eazy-E passing, so they went back to the studio and did another one and called it "Tha Crossroads" it beat the Beatles record I believe, and they rereleased the album with the new crossroads song instead of it having the old one, the album E. 1999 Eternal is their best selling album it still sells till this DAY! That whole album is full of bangers
I had both albums. The original version with the original crossroads and when the album with the remix came out, I bought that one, too. And before that one came out, I had the cassette with the original crossroads on one side and the remix on the other side. I was in driver's training at the time and my driving instructor was cool and let us listen to it in the range cars.
@@shanedaniels1375 that's what's up, I was 12 in 96, in middle school, 1st of tha month was my favorite track being that my birthday is April 1st, I also had the Mo Thugs Family Scriptures album on cassette in middle school, you can say I had "Thug Devotion" 😉😎
@@isaiahtyler4720 in fact, I grew up in Grand Rapids, MI, but spent a lot of time on the south side of Chicago and I bought that album, a cassette, in Chicago during the height of the bone thugs and Twista do or die beef.
Like fr I just kept sighing like I’m so confused. They can’t possibly think that the rappers of today just came up with their sing song flow off the dome. It’s aggravating #216
I'm glad ya listened to Thuggish Ruggish Bone! East 1999 Eternal album 🔥. I'm 38 this year and my sister introduced me to BTNH in the early 90's, damn the 90's was a hell of an era for music/ movies! Much love and peace Cartier ✌ Family!
people sleep on flesh. he can fa sho get to rippin. B and Krayzie of course can hit 10-12 syllables per second no problem. Only difference is they dont sound robotic doing it lol they throw that flow twist in there and cant nobody do it like them.
@@DrippUP Facts. They all rip it fast in such a natural way it actually comes off so layed back and chill. How many artists can you sit back and groove with while they spit that fast? Not many.
It’s sooooo sad how flesh n bone was purposely left off these songs due to the record label trying to exclude him out, but he prevailed in later songs and videos. You must keep listening and watching young people, Bone is DEEP and ALL 5 members are truly 1of a kind and really make there best music when all 5 are on track together.
Im pretty sure some of these guys can rap as fast if not faster than em. Theyre known for throwing in fast ass lines and slowing the tempo down and being rhythmic in the same verse. Straight Legends
@@klynch572 they definitely can rap faster than Eminem. Godzilla - Eminem went 10.9 syllables per second. Krayzie Bone went 12.5 syllables per second on Clash of the Titans. Their whole career they been doin that casually. They just dont rap fast as fuck to rap fast. the core of their sound and what makes them unique is the ability to hop in and out of harmonic pockets then twist it with that triple time flow. They kill Eminem sonically. Em can rap fast but he can not sound as good as Bone thugs while hes doing it.
Lmao. You clearly have not heard Krayzie Bone on Rap God. Absolutely wrecked havoc on it and rapped faster than Em. And Bizzy, you don't know Bizzy. That dude is a freaking machine gun.
Yo for the youngans, they are from Cleveland. They went to California to get a record deal and was put on by Easy. They lived there firva while and went back and forth to Cleveland. So that's why they have the whole Cali sound/ vibe. Aslo they all grew up together. Theyre all family except Krazie. Layzie, Flesh, and Bizzy are all brothers. Wish is their cousin and Krazie is their friend.
Growing up in NE Ohio, the Akron area, when these guys came out, no matter if you were white or black, everyone loved them and it gave us a ton of pride that someone came out from the region in an insane era of music (all genres).
I just saw these boys for the first time live at a festival in my home town called Summer Camp. The played before The Smashing Pumpkins. It was the best of both worlds for a rock and OG rap fan such as myself. I was worried considering I live in a pretty “redneck” area, but everyone was vibing to both groups. It was lit af. This summer they’re having Willie Nelson and Les Claypool(of Primus) and I’m so hyped to see both of those legends💯🔥🔥🔥
As an Aussie, born in 89, who was first shown bone in my early teens, nothing compares. I spent my entire teens listening to bone and smoking weed. I'm now 33, I don't smoke much now, but I still love bone.
Yooo this crazy to see! I was listening to this back when I was a youngin and it's dope to see todays young generation discovering just how dope Bone Thugs n Harmony were! Big ups from Australia boys keep doin' your thing!
THIS. Thats what Bone Thugs was all about. They blew up at the exact moment we were all trying to out bigger and bigger amps, rubes and boxes in our hoopdees haha. Bone Thugs was at worst tied for the heaviest, hardest, and most window rattling bass lines. They were THE blunt cruise group, more than any other, even more than the west coast rappers who had similar style music and influences.
I will Always love Bones Thug .It's great watching your reactions Fun fact,Shatasha Williams is a female R&B singer from the '90s. She made her musical debut in 1990, appearing on rapper Candyman's song “Knockin' Boots.” Through a friend, she was put into contact with late rapper Eazy-E, who was looking for female vocalists to work with rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
The GREATEST RAP GROUP OF ALL TIME! Hands down! You youngsters would’ve loved to have been a teenager through the 90s! I’m blessed to have lived in it.
They are the GOAT as far as Rap is concerned. They were a G’d out vocal group who could sing, flow, and harmonize like no other before or since. STILL the Best.
This whole album was my soundtrack for the last half of the 90’s. Me and my cousin were ALL ABOUT Bone on repeat ❤️ great memories. Bizzy was my favorite.
This is my first time listening to a reaction video by you guys. I'm FYI'ing you - from a 90's hip hop lover - these 90's rap jams need to be heard on a proper system to get the full effect. Back then, the bass effect that was used was just as important as the lyrics and melody/sample. The songs will still sound pretty good otherwise, but listening on regular tv speakers or an ok soundbar or without good-quality headphones really minimizes the full experience. Not to say you aren't utilizing a great system, just putting it out there...
I feel so old right now watching this. This song came out when I was 19, about y'alls age. Loved me some Bone. 🤣🤣 That sounds funny, but you know what I'm saying. 🤣 Awesome reaction, guys. Much love.
Oh man, that was back before streaming services so we had to try to record stuff on the radio until we could get enough money to go buy the cd. Ahh the good old days.
@@DEEVIL Not to mention how many times we had to listen to a Bone song just to figure out half the lyrics. These kids today don't know how easy they have it with their google. 😂 But I wouldn't trade places because the 80/90s WERE the sh*t. Yes sir. ❤
Yall Mezmorized and Hypnotized too.... 1st time I ever Herd This was on a Cassette tape we was playin Basketball 🏀 in the driveway.. had the house stero 📻 outside... he got there said no I gotta put this in... and Bone went on to be one of My ALL TIME FAVORITES bumped that $hit all the time All the Albums.
I’m one of your Metallica reaction fans. I am familiar with Bone Thugs in Harmony specifically Crossroads. I have never heard other songs by them. I wasn’t crazy about them but I can respect the artistry. I would venture to say that Eminem may have been inspired by some of their flow.
Their album Art of War has some bangers, and they rap faster on that album than others imo. Lyric vids ftw lol. Handle the Vibe the second song on the album its wild how these dudes spit so fast lol
Y'all getting down to my 8th grade, 13/14 yr old, 1994/1995 jam, get with it guys, bang that shit! Louisville, Kentucky representing! 1. Thuggish Ruggish Bone 2. 1st Of Tha Month 3. For Tha Love Of Money Listen to Tha Crossroads on East 1999 Eternal it's better.
I remember listening to this every day. But honestly all the songs you listened to was all for TV so they slowed the way they rap way down so people that don't normally listen to them could understand what they was saying. Listened to " No surrender" or " MO Murder ". They were one of the greatest at this time. Like Tupac, Biggie.
Truthfully back in those days you could lose your life on this music. It was taken seriously a lot of hommies died. Good to see you guys learning music that paved the way for rappers today
I was 14 years old in 1999 I’m so glad I grew up with all the bangers Project pat Bone thug Lil John east side boyz Master p All the great rap in the mid 90’s and early 2000’s
Born in 89...was a youngN when Bone was popping but i remember me my brother our group of friends (4/5 deep) would hang out by one of our friends older brothers window to his room (he was maybe 16 at the time) just to listen to bone thugs cuz his brother was bumping that E.99 Eternal and art of war albums. Good times.
I was raised on this ! My older sisters put me to sleep with bone thugs from a baby ! And it kept going with my godson / nephew . And my son. Obviously the chill vibe ones. But all em is just woah. Bone thugs & harmony legends. . Then bizzy bone … no wonder I can rap fast and sing with that harmony haha
I was freshman when this came out bro... I was already a Eazy E fan and to know he was behind them was a go and then "Fo the love of money" came and I was locked in💯
Lol I enjoyed watching you guys clown around 😁😁😁....It reminded me of my boys....My son and his besties.... Until someone took my son's besties life 😭😭😭....As a Mom and a person that really puts high value on relationships that up lift you.... I say please keep working on your friendships together....Keep working on it for life... It's something so awesome to watch boys be boys...In a wholesome way.... You guys are funny.....❤️ blessings
21:05 He was considered one of the fastest rappers at the time, for sure and is still one of the best in the world at making words come out of his mouth with style. You were not way off base with your question.
