My one tiny teeny itsy bitsy complaint...the really should have included The Monkees. They were the first manufactured boy band, and were even known as "The Pre-Fab (pre-fabricated) Four." The Beatles', of course (The Fab Four) movies were the inspiration behind The Monkees. And when The Monkees toured England, The Beatles threw The Monkees a party, and John Lennon told Mike Nesmith he LOVED the show, never missed an episode, and they were the funniest thing since The Marx Brothers.

I love their transitions. Especially after Walk Like A Man. Where the csmera falls with them and rolls into the next.

I've watched this many, many times, but I only just realized in "The Right Stuff" J None has one black shoe and one white shoe on!

You know, Geoff started his own channel during covid lockdown. Since you like his voice you might wanna check that out. He's got some amazing stuff on there. He clones himself and sings all the parts. He's his own Acapella group, lol. Maybe start with "Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold" from The Hobbit. He recently did the sequel to that in "I See Fire" from The Desolation of Smaug. If you're not in the mood for fantasy, he did a killer version of "Ain't No Sunshine" too. ❤

Did you notice they were doing the choreo to "Single Ladies" , during "Walk Like a Man"?

This video is possibly the one that shows their versatility more than any other. They really can do it all, genre wise. Ok, the dancing it a bit dodgy in places but not all of them had any dance experience. However the singing is impeccable as are the transitions. And the visual humour is so incredible, you really miss a lot if you're not watching. I knew all the earlier bands , being old, but also the newer ones, as I try to keep up to some degree. :)

Okay when you started lip syncing along to N*Sync's "Pop" I died XD I love that you knew that one! I've been repeatedly playing your VP reacts dude, keep 'em comin! I think you seriously need to hear VP's cover of Oogie Boogie's Song from Nightmare Before Christmas where Geoff takes the lead vocals, I think you'd love it, especially if you know the movie! It also very much shows off his insane 5 octave range! Can't wait for more :D

Awesome reaction. Loved watching you jam out to the songs. Yes. Voiceplay is an amazing group. My favorite by far. They have tons of videos to choose from on their channel. Most of the songs they do that transition (medleys) were arranged by Geoff (Jeff) Castelucci, the bass. He and Layne, the beatboxer, switch off every month to arrange their videos. Two of the members in this video are no longer with them. J None, the black gentleman, left to sing with the Navy. He returns when he can to sing with them. At present they only have 4 members so they collaborate with various artists for the 5th. So depending on the video and time is who is in the video. Geoff Castelucci- bass, arrangements. Layne Stein- beatboxer, baritone, arrangements. Eli (like jelly) Jacobson- tenor, rock tenor. Cesar De La Rosa - baritone, tenor. Geoff also has his own channel where he sings solo with instruments. He clones himself 3-4 times for harmonies. Each with their own name and personality.... Jeff, Jeoph, Goff and Daryl. Voiceplay and Geoff are independent and do everything themselves. Including making their own decisions. Except intriquit makeup, camera and audio mixing. They are known as both "The Kings of Halloween" and "The Theater Kids of Acapella" because of their love of dressing up and performing. They live in Orlando Florida and all have performed at Universal Studios and/or Disney World. Their latest videos... Voiceplay..... Drunken Sailor. Geoff... Folsom Prison Blues. I love Geoff's voice as well. Its so beautiful. I found Geoff 1½ years ago singing Ain't No Sunshine. A month later I found out he was with Voiceplay. Dragonborn Comes Skyrim is my first video with them. A month later I found out that Layne and former member Tony owned Pattycake Productions together where Voiceplay and Geoff film most of their videos. They do Disney related original videos. I am now on all 3 patreons.

Love your reactions, love your enthusiasm! What I love about Voiceply is that they do it all - there's not a music genre they haven't dipped their toes in, and plenty where they're the undisputed masters. For future reactions... well to start with, I can recommend their 'Halo' cover with Scott Porter (one of the original founder-members from back when thy were called Four Four Two.) Be sure to listen to the end though, where you'll hear more about the backstory of Voiceplay and their reason for performing this cover.

Geoff Castellucci is the bass and he has his own channel and does LOW bass covers.

They have been doing this medley LIVE for at least 13 years, until COVID sure the world downy, sometimes swapping out different songs. The earliest I've found is 2013. No costume changes, but you can't have everything! Great reaction!
