Another great songstress from the late 50's & early 60's. She started very young & had a very unique voice. She covered different genres including rockabilly, pop & country. Some other hits by her are "I'm Sorry", "I Want To Be Wanted", "Sweet Nothin's", "Break It To Me Gently", "Losing You" etc.

Great singer she signed a recording contract at 13 or 14. I'm Sorry is probably her biggest hit. SWEET NOTHINGS shows her Little Miss Dynamite side.

She was a tiny person, maybe 5 feet tall. She began supporting her family with her big voice when she was younger than 13.

How I wish the style of singing that emphasizes the excessive use of self-indulgent (and for me, irritating) runs and riffs never drove pure and powerful belting like this out of style. Brenda Lee is a brilliant and magnificent singer.
