First Time Hearing BTS - 'ON' (Kinetic Manifesto Film) 

I have seen each of your BTS reactions. I love your enthusiasm! I'm a seventy-year-old guy from Chicago and have been following BTS for about three or four years now. It's great to see a new person going down the rabbit hole.

ON is easily one of BTS' hardest choreo, hands down. Also Jungkook (high notes at the bridge) absolutely ate this entire video, choreo and all 💜

What's COOL in BTS lyrics is that it would also low-key changes for example the repeating line in ON: "Find me and I'm gonna live with ya" in 3:08 and in 6:43 would change the moment they sang the line "Choosing to descend into the dark abyss" at 8:27 nearing the end. Instead of the usual "Find me and I'm gonna live with ya" line, the word "LIVE" will change into "BLEED" After 8:27 you will find the lyrics "Find me and I'm gonna bleed with ya" till the end of the song. It's because in that part they were already in the dark abyss, so the moment they ask you to find them, they are already bleeding with you. So if you ask me, BTS are just top notch cause they pay attention in lyric details.

Personally I like bts bside more than their title tracks....so hope you react to songs like Truth untold House of cards We on Bapsae Spine beaker Tomorrow Ddaeng Magic shop Pied piper And their songs sound better watching lives.... especially the songs like So What, Anpanman,Boys with fun,Attack on bangtan,black swan etc. Or if you really wanna see how they evolved you can start from their debut songs in order....

I'm so glad you liked it! They'll always surprise you! The thing about BTS' music is it's very relatable, and the lyricism is amazing. Their messages and music changed my life for the better and inspired me to make myself and the world better! Thanks for reacting to BTS ! I think they will surprise you on many levels ! BTS has, no lie, the wildest range of music any artist have and hundreds of songs. That means, no matter what your genre is, you'll find songs you like and some you'll enjoy less. Anyways, as much as medias like to put groups in a box, BTS is no typical "boyband" and even in the Kpop industry, they're totally different. They're pionniers in some way and to these days, I haven't seen any artist that big being so normal out of stage. But most of all, they've been working very hard for a decade, literally starting from scratch in a company that was on the verge on bankruptcy only to have made this company one of the biggest economic sources in South Korea nowadays. There are 3 rappers and 4 singers. And on top of being amazing rappers, singers and dancers ; BTS members write, produce, take part in the artistic concepts, music videos, dance choreographies, ideas... Everything basically, in collaboration with their company staff and artists. They're really on a line of their own and I think you'll see that for yourself when you react to more. That being said, you're really perceptive on many levels, can't wait to see more of your reactions :) Also, I think you should definitely react to the different fan-made guides about BTS. They'll put you on many informations about the group, the members, how they work and everything basically. Because above learning about their group history, these guides make you understand their music a lot more in some way. That was my case when I first became a fan (and I'm sure I'm not the only one). I guess learning about the background of each member, their background as a group and the way they work for their craft, makes you understand the music (and the artistry) in a much more complete way. The most complete (and amazingly made) guide is : "A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7" (by Taylor Mari). Hope you'll react to it ! In any case, enjoy the journey !!

Honestly I’m not a bts fan but out of all of the songs I’ve heard from them, this would be my favorite. It sound like an anthem while being catchy and you can feel their passion. Even if I’m not an army I can see why they’re so popular, they’re so talented!!!

Great reaction. Can I just tell you that there is a BTS ON COMMENTARY FILM where it shows the recording of the marching band and gospel choir elements of the song in LA. No one hardly ever reacts to this but I think it is amazing. You have top quality producers, singers and musicians all talking so nicely about BTS and many are ARMY. I also fell for their lyrics. This winning thing, for me it is more like fighting for yourself against the people trying to take you down (the haters, not because they are jealous but because the want you to stop trying). I consider myself as a gifted artist and all my life I had to fight people trying to make me give up my art. They succeeded, I have a good job, a house, wonderful kids. But I paid a huge price for it: my art. BTS reminded me of this, I wish I had had BTS when I was young. By the way, I’ll have an art exhibition in June, finally.

I commented before I became an ARMY because of FAKE LOVE lyrics .. and you read the subtitles of the song respectively and said cool .. just think, we were attracted to the ENGLISH translated subtitles of their song lyrics and feeling it, how the people in SOUTH korea feel to hear those lyrics in their language and the feeling they get.. might get boosted and inspired even more than I am now I love that line to GOTTA GO INSATE TO STAY SANE 🔥🔥💜💜💜 and this ON choreo is one of the hardest choreographies of them so far .. really the , music, lyrics, their vocals and their from bones to expressions crazy energetic movements of the body to dance like this and this ON is really so valuable ,worthy from its hardwork .. really love their hard work idk I love them...and Tyler u are me totally when i was a baby ARMY at that time..thanks for the video it's really nice.. Being at their PTD concert in LA, it was SO incredible seeing them perform this live to open the show!

New watcher here~ Please react to RUN BTS Dance Practice, and their Room Live Festa 2021 (this one will show their versatility)! Magic Shop at Wembley stadium is also an incredible live as well, showcasing their stage presence even without the dancing. TBh tho, there's too many good songs to even recommend, even all their solo projects so I'll let the rest of Army suggest all of it lol. You might find it interesting that the music for this video was recorded by the UCLA marching band and concert band along with the UCLA Blue Devils drum corps. The dancers are a well known dance troupe called The Lab. You called it right there is a gospel group also singing back up in parts of the song. The first girl you see on the drum at the beginning is the one who choreographed this. I'm sorry I don't recall her name right now. This was filmed in the LA River basin at the Sepulveda Dam in Los Angeles. There is a behind the scenes video of the making of this that you might find interesting.

In case you don't understand the ON lyric "Throw myself into both worlds" in 2:58 and the line "Carried myself into this beautiful prison" at 3:04 Cause I know those lines are hard to understand It actually just means they are very aware, or should I say conscious cause they are literally just describing their life as a normal person and their life as an insanely famous "celebrity" The both worlds means what it feels to live under a spotlight and in the shadows. And the "Carried myself into this Beautiful Prison" also means their life. To live under the spotlight is indeed glamorous and beautiful however they are also aware that the spotlight they are in are also their prison cell.

It’s so fun to watch someone from being a „hater“ to becoming a little fan. 😊 I like that you could admit that to yourself and gave them a chance. I know most people would find them not bad or could at least recognize their hard work if they gave them a chance. So this is nice 😊 And I love how we Armys always recommend the same songs in the beginning almost all the time 😂 We don’t name the newer stuff ( aside from dynamite and butter ) cause it’s fun to watch people roll everything up from behind 😂 We know people aren’t ready for certain songs or performances and it’s more fun to watch them when you are 10-15 videos in and know their names 😂

Starting a BTS journey with Dynamite always gives the wrong impression about their music. They made Dynamite for a very specific reason, which is giving happy vibes to ppl in quarantine times, but it’s not representative of their music overall. It’s one of favorite songs, but it’s not representative of their sound. It was more pop-y and boy band-y than they actually are. Anywho, the more you listen to their music and the more you learn about them as people, the more you’ll respect and love them. They’re AMAZING on every front and they’re awesome people. Welcome to the rabbit hole. I started very recently as well, and couldn’t be happier that JK’s solo work got me into discovering what I dare say the best group of performers in the world.
